We often hear that people are a company's most important asset, but it's historically been very hard to quantify that, or understand the ROI of it. In this presentation, I walk through a framework for understanding the Employee Lifetime Value (ELTV) and show a case study that demonstrates the ROI of being great at People practices.
This workshop focused on the elements of focus, alignment, and commitment building as it relates to an effective S&OP process. It was presented at the Business Forecasting and Analytics Forum in Boston on June 6th, 2017
Understanding family structure and style is essential to patient a.docxouldparis
Understanding family structure and style is essential to patient and family care. Conducting a family interview and needs assessment gathers information to identify strengths, as well as potential barriers to health. This information ultimately helps develop family-centered strategies for support and guidance.
This family health assessment is a two-part assignment. The information you gather in this initial assignment will be utilized for the second assignment in Topic 3.
Develop an interview questionnaire to be used in a family-focused functional assessment. The questionnaire must include three open-ended, family-focused questions to assess functional health patterns for each of the following:
1. Values/Health Perception
2. Nutrition
3. Sleep/Rest
4. Elimination
5. Activity/Exercise
6. Cognitive
7. Sensory-Perception
8. Self-Perception
9. Role Relationship
10. Sexuality
11. Coping
Select a family, other than your own, and seek permission from the family to conduct an interview. Utilize the interview questions complied in your interview questionnaire to conduct a family-focused functional assessment. Document the responses as you conduct the interview.
Upon completion of the interview, write a 750-1,000-word paper. Analyze your assessment findings. Submit your questionnaire as an appendix with your assignment.
Include the following in your paper:
1. Describe the family structure. Include individuals and any relevant attributes defining the family composition, race/ethnicity, social class, spirituality, and environment.
2. Summarize the overall health behaviors of the family. Describe the current health of the family.
3. Based on your findings, describe at least two of the functional health pattern strengths noted in the findings. Discuss three areas in which health problems or barriers to health were identified.
4. Describe how family systems theory can be applied to solicit changes in family members that, in turn, initiate positive changes to the overall family functions over time.
Cite at least three peer-reviewed or scholarly sources to complete this assignment. Sources should be published within the last 5 years and appropriate for the assignment criteria.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide. An abstract is not required.
This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
Please refer to the directions in the Student Success Center.

How to Understand the ROI of Investing in PeopleQualtrics
Articulating the return on investment (ROI) of People Practices is extremely challenging. However, even small improvements in practices like hiring, onboarding, and managing talent can result in significant ROI for the business. In this webinar, Maia will use her previous experiences as a derivatives trader and CEO to walk through a framework and case study that helps to articulate the ROI of investing in People by using the concept of Employee Lifetime Value (ELTV).
In this webinar, you’ll learn:
- How to articulate the ROI of investing in People
- The 4 ways to increase Employee Lifetime Value (ELTV) in your organization
- How to use ELTV to get buy-in from executives for the resources and tools you need
Copeland Associates was first asked to perform an in-depth analysis of the indoor athletic facility industry, including a micro and macro analysis of the environment. Team 6 decided to open an indoor athletic facility for kids located in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. This location was chosen due to the high per capita income, large number of kids, and high participation of sports. This report includes an in-depth explanation of our business concept, marketing strategy, demand scenarios, and financial position of the company.

DiscussionThe utilization of functional communication trainingDustiBuckner14
Discussion
The utilization of functional communication training has been proven to have a major influence on the lives of individuals faced with maladaptive behaviors. Behavioral challenges are diverse, especially in children. The brain controls the body's functionality as well as the coordination of human activities. Thus, these symptoms do not reference physical well-being, which social and environmental changes could have explained. Therefore, this study investigated the use of a critical intervention, functional communication training, to assess its effectiveness in controlling behavior challenges.
The findings from the study have shown that Functional Communication Training is efficient in limiting the frequency of maladaptive behaviors among individuals. These findings are consistent with Caldwell (2018), who integrated technological frameworks in investigating the efficacy of Functional Communication Training in controlling maladaptive behavior. The results from their study found a significant change in adverse behavioral challenges reported by subjects in the study.
Comment by Holly Rittenhouse-Cea: connect to future research: length of communication training on outcomes of challenging behavior
A longer implementation of FCT is associated with increased positive outcomes. The needs and well-being of participants are effectively engaged, which offers a clear and more interactive emphasis on the needed outcomes. Ghaemmaghami et al. (2020) stated that improving the communication approach among children with maladaptive behaviors allows a proper understanding of new behavior, which is vital in making informed decisions. Further, longer communication training on major functional concepts will enable participants to understand the basic approaches that control challenging behavior. (connect to future research: length of communication training on outcomes of challenging behavior)
Similarly to Roby (2016) assessing the efficacy of functional communication training in children with autism spectrum disorder, it was revealed that FCT is essential in increasing appropriate communication skills and reducing unwanted problem behaviors among individuals.
Paragraph 3: Limitations of your study (sample size, errors, etc.)
While conducting this study there were limitations identified that should be considered. The size consisted of a low number of two participants. Can refer to articles to mention why a larger sample size is needed.
(other limitations to write about:
Parent involvement -having to train parents, ensuring parents implement correctly when not observed by professionals.
Intervention only conducted for a short period of time. can mention the importance of maintaining an intervention so an increase of behavior does not occur.

Data and Behavior Change: Is Seeing Believing, and is That Enough?Sustainable Brands
How do we drive behavior change by enabling easy digestion of one's consumption behavior, or the context of one's social circles? What hard evidence do we have that 'recently liberated,' easily accessible data in energy use, water use, nutrition, and life/work satisfaction is changing behavior? What have we learned about user/consumer reactions to different types of data visualization and what advice do respective solution providers have for brands entering their own data transparency journeys aiming to attract or change customers, employees and other stakeholders?
