This document discusses a student's master's thesis on multiple sclerosis (MS). The student visited an MS patient association in Tehran and observed how social support positively impacted patients' recovery processes and ability to prevent progressive attacks. The student interviewed a computer programmer diagnosed with MS about his experiences with flare-ups that impair daily tasks. The student analyzed this case using information from a neurobiology course, explaining how MS lesions disrupt nerve signal transmission and cause motor, visual, emotional and language impairments. The student demonstrated an understanding of the nervous system components involved in MS and how this course enhanced their ability to analyze neurological conditions.
