ideas about the reason of civil war. Because any civil war in any county not starts
of one reason no one can justify the civil war in a single reason.
Bargaining theory of war:
Some scholars said in Tajikistan war is bargaining theory of international war
theory because the Tajikistan and Uzbekistan both country under colony of Soviet
Union and both if the government is weak and opposition know country also
decolonize by Russia in 1991. But the civil war occur in Tajikistan not in
Uzbekistan .the bargaining theory mention that that my demand can be a

these both party is demanding about the revival of Tajikistan language culture and
established in parliamentary government. These opposition demanding these
things and also mentioning that the communist government effecting our culture
heritage and socio economic so we need to stop them from this type of
propaganda . Also convincing the people stand like a rock against the
government. Some writer mention it’s a reason of civil war but other writer again
mention that these things also exist in Uzbekistan the government and opposition
both are exist in Uzbekistan but why not civil war occur are constructed in
Uzbekistan .
Economic and Political Discrimination
Another scholar argued that the civil war in Tajikistan is political and economic
discrimination. Because some area of Tajikistan is politically and economically
dominant like khujand was the richest region but in some region like gram and
badakshan not have anything they are politically and economically weak region
so according to sharing unbalance of power this civil war in Tajikistan occurred .

people do not have equal right and equal job and their elite not happy with
government the civil war began . the elite of backward region have authority and
influence to their people because people listen to their elite and ready for any
type of action this situation show that the elite of opposition politically isolated
and their regional people are economically isolated that’s why civil war
constructed in Tajikistan .

Some scholar and political analysts mention that these situation also appear in
Uzbekistan territory where the government dominated with political and
economic thought and the opposition are same region are very weak in term of
politically and economically. Like soviet policy in Tajikistan and this policy in
Uzbekistan are also privileged some group against other for example
karakalpakistan khorezm and surkhan darya and few people in Uzbekistan is also
republic level and government party member then why civil war not actively
produced in the Uzbekistan the economic indicator also similar in Uzbekistan and
Tajikistan both countries growth domestic product (GDP)per capta were very

also decolonized same time but why civil war occur in Tajikistan not in Uzbekistan.
Weak State
Some scholar argue that as a weak state the situation of clash and civil war began.
When the soviet union transfer the power to the Tajikistan government then the
Tajikistan government could not handle the situation of crisis and do not have
ability and capability to control all the people . Scholar mean weak state

main cause behind of civil war which affected the politics of Tajikistan.
