This document discusses a retrofit building control system called Connected Lighting that allows controlling lighting and other systems over existing 230V cabling. It can reduce energy consumption by 75% by adding lighting controls. The system is secure with end-to-end encryption and provides competitive retrofitting with minimal disruption by monitoring all points in a building. It has been deployed in over 110 million devices worldwide and used by organizations like Land Securities, HM Prisons, and major UK retail chains.
