Profile
A highly flexible, yet focussed Product Engineer with a background in Product Design and sales. I have an
enthusiastic approach to challenges, an understanding of manufacturing and design processes, with the ability to
make links between unrelated topics and an eye for detail.
During my degree, I worked part time in sales, gaining invaluable experience in customer requirements and
decision making to reflect these requirements. This work created a strong need to manage time effectively to get
the most from my university course, as well as performing sufficiently in my job.
University experience of all aspects of the design process, from initial problem discovery, through research and
concept iteration, to production of 3D models (both physical and digital,) that outline requirements for design for
manufacture.
Since working for Pall, I have worked closely with suppliers to help improve relationships and increase efficiencies.
The majority of my time with this company has been spent working within change control, implementing product
changes within a highly regulated market sector.

June 2014-Present, Pall Corporation, Newquay
Initially working within the Supply Chain team, with a focus on supplier
effectiveness and relationship. From here, I was seconded on to the
material change team within Product Engineering. My time with this
team has involved management of multiple priority projects
simultaneously; teamwork, leadership and ensuring projects meet stock
and ongoing sales requirements.
November 2013-June 2014, Frankie and Benny’s, Bristol
Working in a busy restaurant as part of the waiting staff. This role
required that I quickly build a rapport with the customer, and help
create a satisfying experience for them during their visit. In this role, I
also had to deal with customer complaints, as well as general
housekeeping duties to keep my designated section of the restaurant
clean and tidy, all creating a necessity for good time management.
September 2011-November 2013, What Stores Ltd
A member of general staff within the store, then becoming stockroom
supervisor following the conclusion of my studies. With the
responsibility of accepting deliveries and organising stock ready for
colleagues to put out on the shelves, as well as working on checkouts
with near constant contact with customers.

Stand Out University Projects
Piper Moto – University Project - Level 3
Working within a team on a tight schedule to create a range of luggage proposal for a new motor
scooter brand. Each member of the team was given a specific area of the design to focus on. My
focus was the attachment of the luggage to the scooter frame. I designed this to minimise the
physical effort required from the user. I used gears and motors to lift the luggage from the ground
onto the frame of the scooter.
Reckitt Benckiser – University Project - Level 3
Theoretically working for Reckitt Benckiser, this project had a strong view on cost and value
analysis. The focus was on the Dettol “No Touch” Hand Wash Dispenser, which was under
performing in the market. Key to this project was to improve value, by reducing costs without
reducing customer experience.
