            Concept A
Graphic Elements:

.   Rooftop Garden Theme:
    Graphic design is utilized as a reflection
    of the outdoors as seen through the

.   eyes of a child.
    The soft hues of the color
    palette, invokes a calm and inviting
    space, while circular info graphics are
    spotted throughout.
Interactive Elements

.   Rooftop Garden Theme:
    Interactivity includes on screen games

.   through the use of motion tracking technology.
    Possibilities include the children being
    immersed into the virtual world to play with a

.   friendly flock of butterflies that follows their every move.
    Hidden menus in the scene can launch other interactive

.   games and information.
    A rooftop camera overlooking the city may be controlled
    on the I-pads.

         Game ideas : Design your own rooftop garden : design your own bedroom suite : construction site
Concept A : Rooftop Garden Theme
   *faux grass flooring *overhead butterflies (rotating) *5 interactive “portals”
   *White Pine sapling (soft needles) and tree log seating (to be transplanted to rooftop garden when completed)

   *the interactive areas are staggered at different heights for different age groups
   *structure “wraps” around the existing baseball theme statuette along the far wall

   *iPad style monitors include pop up information and games that are developed for the 5 main interactive areas
   *control of the rooftop camera is located nearest the White Pine tree and overlooks the city

   *the distance from the carpet edge to the existing column is approximately 8’ 6” away
   *the end panel can be opened by staff to access the area behind the exhibit

   *cut outs along the plexi glass shield towards the base hides the motion tracking controllers and sound bar style
   speakers (for background and game related sounds), along with specialty lighting

   *graphic informational panels and iPad stations provide an in-depth study of the progress of the Child & Young Adult
   Cancer Institute for older viewers through web sites, pdf files and updated photographs of the site

Graphic Elements:

.   Rooftop Garden Theme:
    Traditional interactive activities takes the place of the motion

.   tracking elements of the previous concept.
    Secret Reveal lenses are placed within a telescope lens to
    provide younger children with the playful discovery of

.   woodland creatures found throughout the scenery.
    iPads are mounted to a post where they slide and tilt freely to
    locate QR codes and augmented reality images
    printed within the backdrop imagery for the older children.

   *the 5 individual “portals” provide a window into garden style scenery where hidden secrets can be found
   through the use of special telescopes and iPads mounted into the base

    hidden menus in the scene can launch other interactive games and
    information.

   *the screens behind the circular portals are in constant motion with schools of animated characters until being
   approached, where they stay to “play” with the individuals up close
