Incremental innovation seeks to
improve the systems that already
exist, making them better, faster
cheaper. Incremental innovation is
often of limited relevance to the new
technology invented by successful
discrete innovation.

creation of something new: new market and
value network.
Unlike incremental innovation, where we
take what we already have and
make it more efficient, (either by adding a
