This document discusses different types and classifications of computers. There are three main types of computers: analog computers which perform continuous mathematical operations using mechanical or electrical components; digital computers which use binary digits to represent data and instructions; and hybrid computers which combine aspects of analog and digital. Computers can also be classified based on size and use, including mainframes for large organizations, minicomputers which are larger than microcomputers but smaller than mainframes, servers which provide network services, supercomputers for intensive tasks, and microcomputers which are small personal computers. Examples of personal computers discussed are desktops, laptops, netbooks, PDAs, tablets, and wearable computers.
