This document defines and compares different types of clouds:
- Public cloud provides shared resources over the internet and is owned by cloud service providers. Examples include Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Private cloud provides computing services within an organization's internal network and selected users. It ensures high security and privacy.
- Hybrid cloud combines public and private clouds to create a unified environment, using public cloud for non-critical activities and private cloud for critical activities.
- Community cloud allows resources to be shared between multiple organizations, like government agencies within a country.
