There are several types of adjectives: possessive adjectives which indicate ownership (e.g. my, your), descriptive adjectives which convey qualities (e.g. tall, beautiful), numeral adjectives which express numbers (e.g. seventh), demonstrative adjectives which point out nouns (e.g. this, that), and interrogative adjectives used to ask questions (e.g. what, which). Adjectives can also express degrees of comparison such as rich, richer, and richest.
