- Pelkän perusasteen varassa työmarkkinoille tulevien määrä on alentunut selvästi.

Työvoiman saatavuusongelmia kokeneiden toimipaikkojen osuus Ely-alueittain
Rekrytointiongelmat yleistyivät vuonna 2018 erittäin voimakkaasti rakennusalalla.
Myös sosiaali- ja terveysalalla, kuljetus- ja varastointialalla, teollisuudessa sekä kaupan alalla
ongelmat lisääntyivät voimakkaasti.
Henkilön osaamiseen liittyvät syyt (koulutus, työkokemus, sosiaaliset taidot, kielitaito, muu työn
vaatima taito) olivat useimmin mainittuja syitä rekrytointien epäonnistumisessa.
