Jerry was always in a good mood as the manager of a restaurant. When he changed jobs, many of his waiters quit their jobs to follow him. Jerry was a natural motivator who helped employees look on the positive side when having a bad day. One day he explained to someone that every morning he chooses to be in a good mood and learn from negative experiences rather than see himself as a victim. Despite being shot during an armed robbery at his restaurant, Jerry chose to live and had a positive attitude during his long recovery. His experience showed that attitude is what we can control and makes life much easier.
