Thomas loses his homemade sailboat while sailing it at the creek. He later discovers it for sale in a toy shop and wants to buy it back. However, the shopkeeper says Thomas must pay for it again since he purchased it from another boy. Thomas decides to save his money to buy his sailboat back so that it will truly be "twice mine." His mother explains that this is similar to how God "bought" mankind twice - first when creating humans, and again by sending Jesus to pay for sins and bring salvation. In the end, Thomas is able to save enough money and re-purchase his beloved sailboat.
