11. The biggest asset is not oil!
• It’s WATER
– Around the length of GCC, especially
UAE
– This water can be channeled into
ARTIFICAL RIVERS and LAKES that runs
THROUGH the desert across DIFFERENT
ROUTES
– This will increase humidity
– Can be used to disperse seeds via
automated solar powered sprinklers
– Will “settle” desert sand, solidify it
– Will create REAL rainfall EVEN IN
SUMMER (more humidity in desert =
more rainfall

13. Why water in the desert?
• Areas with major rainfall have a
source of humidity (water) scattered
around the area (Malaysia, South
America etc) mostly in the form of
rivers going through different parts of
the country
– The rivers act as a source of water that
goes into the air for cloud formation
– Deserts, by definition, lack this humidity
and hence there is little water in the air
– The resulting DRY AIR doesn’t help
cloud formation = no rain! Plus when it
heads towards coastal areas, it dries up
and reduces cloud formation there too
– This is the reason the entire Gulf
countries do not get rain, even though
SURROUNDED by water
– We must have water INSIDE the desert
to increase humidity to create rain even
in the middle of summer!

 Build pipelines from the SEA to the
middle of desert areas to create
lakes
 Identify seeds of plants that can
survive in hot weather, HOLD the
earth, increase NUTRITIONAL quality
of earth and MIX them with
sprinklers
 Run sprinklers a LOT in the night, 3-4
HOURS, its seawater from a RISING
sea, the more you use the better.
 WITH TIME, the desert will start
growing vegetation and become
green and there will be rains in the
summer coupled with tourist
opportunities
