Interserve Project Services Ltd successfully undertook the first phase
refurbishment of this iconic Scottish hotel, working to an extremely
tight and immovable 13 week deadline.
The company’s specialist interior fit-out division, Interserve Retail &
Interiors, completed a total refurbishment of 40 bedrooms
(including 4 suites), a number of which were reconfigured to face
the ocean, which involved removing the ‘central’ corridor and
relocating it to the back of the hotel. The ground floor was totally
remodelled and refurbished, with 3 new (main) public areas being
created: the Sports Bar called “Duel in the Sun”, the Grand Tea
Room and the Ailsa Bar & Lounge. The kitchens were also totally Interserve Retail & Interiors is a
