Today’s sightseeing will kick off at the UNESCO list-
ed Botanic Gardens. From here, visit the busy lanes
and appetite inducing smells of Little India.
Next up will then be Merlion Park, where you’ll view
the half fish, half lion Merlion statue who proudly
stands overlooking the Marina Bay, then travel on to
ancient, traditional Chinatown. At night, you could
choose to take part in an exciting optional night sa-
fari, visiting the 40 hectares of jungle close to Sin-
gapore from the comfort of an open air tram.

During your trip, it’s a must that you spend
the morning sampling the city’s culinary
delights that reflect its multi-cultural influ-
ences, including Chinese, Malay, Indian
and Peranakan. Rub shoulders with the lo-
cals at Geylang Serai market, which lies at
the heart of the Malay community.
Continue to the Joo Chiat and Katong en-
clave where you will visit a Peranakan-style
shophouse showcasing a display of local
delicacies as well as artefacts, nyonya at-
tire, bags and beaded slippers.
