This document discusses plans for three films promoting the Oxemberg clothing brand. Each film will feature a stylish male central character interacting confidently with the city of London. Split screens will show the character's coordinated movements matching patterns in the environment. Careful choreography, lighting, music and visuals will highlight the clothes and capture the energy and substance of the brand. The goal is to make compelling films that allow viewers to imagine themselves as the aspirational characters.
2. Siyaram is a familiar name and an integral part of our vocabulary. It has transitioned from a brand name to being a word that denotes trust. Oxemberg
that comes from the house of Siyaram carries the weight of the heritage with style but also adds its own signature and flavour to the ancestral name. It
has been a statement of style since its very inception. With men’s wear that ranges from formal to semi to casual to party, there is little doubt that it is
one of the leading brands that speaks to men of all kinds. Oxemberg infuses style, good taste, fashion and panache into your life but most importantly
confidence to own the style you prefer. Every man is different with different needs, preferences, prerogatives, values and lifestyles – Oxemberg recognizes
and cherishes these individual differences and lends a unique fashionable touch to the man who wears it. Oxemberg styles, the man owns it. Our three
films with three different ranges of clothing underline this idea of balancing style and substance – style that draws from the substance that makes the man
who he is. Oxemberg’s style is all about true expression of yourself. Its many colours, patterns and designs truly represent you, define you and ultimately
speak to you.
This film takes off from this philosophy of style. When a man walks down London streets and interacts with the city, its structures, its iconic monuments
and men and women like himself who value self-expressive style, it is not the city that defines this man, it is this man that owns everything around him
and the city itself. With his fashion statement he makes this city his home, he leaves a mark behind and he makes this city an extension of himself. The city
gets enveloped in the confidence he exudes and becomes a visual manifestation of his mood, his psyche and his being.
3. NARRATIVE & STYLE
This film is about a man who owns his clothes. It is about a man who with his energy and effervescence uplifts the mood of the film. In order to
express this character and his style in the best way possible, we create a relationship between the city he finds himself in and the people that walk
down the streets of this city. These interactions are not elaborate, it is in their simplicity that we find our story. As he crosses a lamppost, his feather
touch lends it life. When he walks the streets, there is a skip and swagger in every step. When he looks up at the monuments that line the streets,
he removes his glasses and lets his eyes speak to them. He shares a moment with them. When a car owner admires him with her gaze, he stylishly
tips his hat. When an iconic statue stares at him, he winks at it and walks on by.
Along the way, he meets a female friend as stylish as him and interacts with her with a flirtatious air. Then he meets a group of men and women
with whom he shares cool handshakes and kisses and gives us a feeling of being the life of this group.
4. In order to make the narrative even more interesting, we would intercut between full frame and split screen with our man walking down different
streets, meeting different people and interacting with different facets of the city to capture the variety in a short span of time. But in order to make
it stylish and fun, we would make the splitscreen interactive, where the frames on either side interact with each other and add an element of
surprise and fun.The action and lines of one frame acquire a new meaning on the other side of the frame. With these interactive unrelated images,
we can have fun with matching patterns, shapes, movements and coincidental exchanges to create a film that is both fashionable and fun.

6. SCREENPLAY
Our guy walks with a swagger down the streets of London, meeting his friends along the way, past the traffic, down the pavements, past the fountains and the
monuments. Then in splitscreen we see –
On one side of the frame is an umbrella falling out of a woman’s hand and on the other side in matching action is our guy landing from a platform to the street on
his skateboards.
One one side is a man stretching out his arm to shake an invisible hand, on the other side in matching action is our guy collecting a hat from an invisible rack
which he puts on as he walks away.
On one side is our guy opening the famous London telephone booth door, on the other side in matching action our guy opens a car door and steps out.
On one side is a man juggling balls that eventually fall. On the other side in matching action is our guy catching an apple. He takes a bite.
7. On one side our man walks towards the split screen edge and walks out of the other side but in different clothes.
On one side is a girl’s scarf flying, on the other side, in matching action, is our guy’s flying stole.
On one side is the shadow of people walking. On the other side is the matching pattern of the zebra crossing where our guy is seen crossing the street.
On one side is our guy wearing a butterfly shaped tiepin. On the other side, a real butterfly flies.
Finally, we end the film with four avatars of our man walking towards the camera in four different frames separated by splitscreens. Each avatar of our man
simultaneously tosses up in the air something he possesses; a hat, a bag, a walking cane, a handkerchief. The things these four avatars tossed up however land
arbitrarily in the other frame. Each of these avatars catch the objects falling on them and own it with style as they continue to walk closer to the camera.

17. CHARACTER & STYLE
This film is all about style, substance and immense
confidence; confidence in your talk, your walk and your
appearance. The idea is to capture the essence of
Oxemberg which is in its ability to lend a signature style
to a man giving him élan and strong presence.
Our men in three different films that capture the spirit
and range of Oxemberg’s formal, semi-formal and casual
will have a distinct personality and sense of fashion.Their
look, their style, their styling and their walk will fit in
perfectly with the kind of clothes they possess. Their
interactions with the world and the people around will
have a flair that will suit the kind of range they wear. The
accessories they carry; the bags, the hats, the canes, the
stoles, the gadgets, the toys, the glasses, the shoes and the
watches, will enhance the range they are wearing. Their
hair, their body language, their mannerisms and their gait
will give their final look a sense of perfection,
choreography and roundedness that in turn creates a
multi-dimensional character on screen.
Each of these characters will have a story to tell, they will
have the ability and the presence to ignite the minds of
the viewers to imagine their lives. The idea is to make
the audience feel intrigued by the characters on screen
and be compelled to paint a picture of these men in a
world of their own choice. The interactions of these
characters with the world around them will make them
seem friendly, vivacious and aspirational all at once.Their
upbeat demeanour makes them likeable and
approachable, their sense of fashion and surroundings
makes them aspirational and when these two qualities
collide, the characters in their entirety become
compelling and intriguing.Who doesn’t want to be these
characters? Who doesn’t want to be in their shoes? The
idea is to evoke in the audiences the feeling that they
can be in those shoes, they can be as casually cool and
stylish as these men are, they can have all that these men
have because it starts simply with wearing the clothes
that best express them and represent their personalities
– it is about changing to Oxemberg. It is not about
changing who they are, it is not about changing the skin
they wear, it is in fact about adopting fashion that
emphasizes and highlights their fantastic personality and
nature.
23. LOOK, FEEL & MOOD
The flair, fashion and poetry of this film comes from the
fact that the man, the city around him, the people he
interacts with and the nature are in unison; they are a
cohesive unit that enhance each other’s existence and
personality. The world around our character is a visual
manifestation of his psyche and hence the colours, the
patterns, the designs, the tones and the lighting represent
the vitality, the energy and the upbeat mood of our
character.
London city is thriving, it is full of life and it has that
magnificent amalgamation of old world charm and
modernity that makes it one of the best cities in the
world. Within this beautiful large city walks a man with
incredible appeal; he doesn’t let the city overwhelm him,
he owns it. He interacts with the buildings, the structures,
the fountains, the towers – old and new – as if they are
his old friends and admirers. It is this chemistry that
needs to come out through the treatment of the film.
There is careful choreography in his movement to
highlight his relationship with the designs and patterns
that coexist in the same frame, the angles from which
the camera perceives him create a dynamic between
him and the city and the intermingling of wide and close
shots represents the seamless merging of objectivity and
subjectivity. Imagine our man walking down the gorgeous
geometrical zebra crossing in a wide shot and then
catching the falling drops of the fountain water in his
palms in extreme tilt shift close up. Imagine a toppish
angle of him enveloped by the shadows of the buildings
intercut with an eye level shot of him walking towards
the camera with a sense of swagger as the traffic criss-
crosses behind him. Exploring different camera angles
and lenses would add personality to the fashion and fun
to the style. On top of that, clever editing to the beats
between the close ups and the wide shots, different
spaces, different angles and juxtaposition of the
splitscreen frames would make this film truly unique and
memorable.
29. A film such as this that is upbeat, lively, energetic and
fun needs colours that are vibrant yet classy,
complimentary to the clothes and yet edgy and
bold. In order to capture the vivacious nature of the
film, the lighting will be soft, bright and beautiful.
With the natural angular path of the sun in the
European skies, the sheen that the characters and
the clothes receive will be absolutely gorgeous
through the day.
The golden rays of the sun stream down generously
on our characters and the city around with flairs
cutting the frames into two on occasion. The light
sometimes engulfs our character from behind
lending him a gorgeous aura and sometimes
envelopes him from above to put him under the
ethereal spotlight. We could perhaps give our
frames an overall tone – warm, magenta or cyan –
depending on the colours of the clothes and the
surroundings to enhance the fashion aspect of the
film.
32. MUSIC
Much like the visual treatment, the music aims to enhance and highlight the warm and cordial relationship between the characters and
the city around them. The music creates an atmosphere of energy and vitality that represents both the city and the characters that live
and breathe in it.The music also finds a way to enter the headspace of our characters who brim with confidence even in a city that
has an intimidating and a majestic presence. Keeping in tone with the overall energy and mood of the film, the music remains peppy
and upbeat. There is choreography in the movement, a skip in every step and a rhythm to the juxtapositioning of the frames and the
music needs to keep up. Peppy chords and strings intertwine with percussion of different kinds to create a groove that makes you
want to dance to the beats. While each of the three films would have a slightly different groove, the mood would uniformly remain
lively and fun.
33. It would be my absolute pleasure to be associated with a fantastic fashion film such as this one that not just talks of style and pizzazz but also
values substance and confidence. This film is not about your clothes effacing who you are; it is in fact about finding an expression to describe
yourself through these clothes. It is about being true to who you are with the help of the different ranges of Oxemberg and owning the style that
establishes your presence no matter what the time or the place.
With the use of interesting treatment that highlights the fashion, the fun aspect of the style and the substance, we can make this film truly unique.
While intercutting between full frames and splitscreens can add a sense of rhythm and dance to the film, making these frames interact creatively
with each other, would make the film truly compelling and fun to watch. With the use of complimentary colours, lighting, choreographed
movements, interesting interactions and patterns, we will create a film that is visually dynamic and dramatic. While we do that, we must ensure that
the clothes always remain the centre of the theme in every single frame. The idea behind a dynamic surrounding would be ultimately to highlight
the beauty of the clothes. I look forward to working with you on these fantastic films.
ThankYou!
