1. Treatment for my opening sequence
Kitchen / Lounge – Day
The door opens, Jamie walks into the house having just had a very
exhausting day at school. He walks into the kitchen and finds his mother, who
is happy to see him. Jamie falls down into the chair, tired from his long and
gruelling day at school. He then walks over to his computer to check his
emails for even more schoolwork that is due in for the next day. As Jamie is
scrolling along his emails, he misclicks and an error message pops up on his
screen. He tries to close the error message, but it does not close. Jamie
stares at his screen wandering what this is, but then the error message text
disappears, and is replaced with the text “DO NOT MOVE”. At this point
Jamie is entranced by the text on the screen. His mother calls him and he
reacts and moves. Jamie is SHOCKED by the computer, and falls to the floor.
He falls unconscious and is not moving.Jamie wakes up thinking everything is
fine; however this is not the case. His mother is nowhere to be seen and the
positioning of everything in the house is different – Jamie has woken up in a
parallel universe where everything is the opposite. Items in his house are in
different positions and there are no people around.
