Treatment Scarlett Horror, Slasher 2hours 15minutes (The opening will be up to 3minutes) The first scene we will introduce the 5 characters, Riley (survivor, girl 1) Fleur (killed, girl 2) Sadie (killed, girl 3) Dave (killed, boy 1) Jack (killed, boy 2). We will see them drinking alcohol, having a good time along with the various relationships between characters. We will first see an establishing shot of the park, which is the area in which the film will take place, in the shot we will see the swings, later on in the opening of the film we see the doll by them. The next shot will be a long shot of teenagers walking to park as a group, it will show them having conversations and having a laugh this will allow the audience to see the relationships between the characters and the closeness of the group, from this shot it should give the impression of this being a part of they’re casual presents around each other along with the normality of going to a park and drinking alcohol as they are clearly under age, the park is the ideal isolated place for them to carry out they’re typical teenage behavior. We will next have an action match of the teenagers walking through the park gate, this will be a medium shot, an extreme close up of opening the gate, medium shot of them walking through the other side of the gate. This will show the teenagers entering the dolls territory that will be shown later on in the film; also the sense of feeling trapped will occur as the audience sees the gate close. To show the characters relationships, the next shot will show an extreme close upof Dave (killed, boy 1) and Sadie (killed, girl 3) holding hands, there will be two close ups of reaction shots to show they’re love struck faces, giving the audience information about they’re feelings for each other. There will then show a Long shot of everyone walking towards the bench showing his or heralcohol. The next shot will be a Master shot to show the limit of action of them sitting on the bench or around the bench drinking this will show their teenage behavior of them laughing and joking. We will introduce the idea of Scarlett by a Close up of Jack (killed, boy 2) saying 'do you wanna hear a scary story?' to his other friends this will give a tense feeling which will contrast from the shots of the group as a whole, we will have a fade to black then a fade in to show a flash forward. We will see a close up of Riley (survivor, girl 1) who is the last survivor and is crying, she will be looking different to how the audience just saw, she will have messed up hair and clothes with her make up running, this will show that she has been in some kind of conflict, the fact she is by herselfgives the connotation that her other friends have been killed as she has been seen previously before the flash forwardbeing with all her friends. We will have an over the shoulder shot of her on the phone dialing the number ‘999’. There will be a master shot of Riley (survivor, girl 1) on the phone and the swing in the background. There will be an extreme close up of Riley’s face with a medium close up of the doll swinging on the swing, singing nursery rhyme, this will continue over the next few shots so the nursery rhyme is heard. A master shot of the swing empty will be shown but still swinging to give the impression the doll is still on there, or has just been on there, this will be from the point of view shot of Riley
