In 50 years, travel and sports will look very different: Underwater hotels and hotels on the moon will be common travel options. Hotel rooms will be highly digitalized and interactive, allowing guests to check in and receive all services without encountering any human staff through the use of holograms and embedded electronics. Sports will include both human and robotic athletes competing together. New sports may emerge that take place in space or involve laser fighting or flying car races. Traditional sports will continue to evolve with changing rules and participation from bionic, genetically enhanced, and other non-traditional types of athletes competing alongside natural humans.
