5. Railway Tickets Reservation:
• Reservations were made by: Mr.K.Linga
Murthy and Mr.S.P.N.B.L.Vara Prasad for
onward journey on 04-09-2009 by Sampath
kranthi Express upto Bhopal (Except for
Shri.K.S.Prasad).
• For return journey on 14-09-2008 by
Sampath Kranthi Express to Hyderabad from
Bhopal (Except K.S.Prasad).

7. Day Of Journey:
(04-09-2009)-(05-09-2009)
• All the yathris reached the Secunderabad station
from their respective places by 06:00.
• The train left on time and reached Bhopal at
09:00 the next day.
• And boarded the connecting train Indore Bhopal
Shuttle reached Ujjain station at 14:30.
• Shri.K.S.Prasad who reached Ujjain one day
earlier received all the pilgrims at the station.
• We engaged 5 auto rickshaws and comfortably
reached Mayur Lodge close to Gopal Mandir by
16:00.

9. • All of us settled comfortably in the rooms allotted
to us.
• We all had heavy snacks in a close by Restaurant
incidentally there was heavy downpour for
30mins inundating the lanes and by lanes.
• More particularly the lady pilgrims had a stroll in
the busy markets around Mayur lodge so as to
familiarise themselves.
• Some of us also visited Mahakal mandir.
• Had dinner at 22:00 and retired.

10. Third Day: (06-09-2009)
Got up early morning at 04:00 and visited
Mahakal Mandir.
Witnessed the Bhasma Harathi and came out of
the temple at 08:00
 The most important thing that should not be
missed in Ujjain yatra is attending Bhasma
Harathi . Nobody is allowed to enter Garbhagudi
except the pujaries
 Bhasma Harathi is performed with the fresh
ashes collected from the Smashanam.

12.  We had our break fast and visited the following
temples:
A. Ganapathi Mandir
B. Mangaleshwar Mandir
C. Harshad mathaji Mandir
D. Rama Mandir &
E. Gopal Mandir
 Had lunch in between and returned back to
hotel at 6pm
 Some of us went around the colorful market
and made some purchases
 we had dinner at 21.00 and returned

14. Fourth day (07-09-2009)
 We all had finished breakfast and left for local visit by 10.00am
engaging a Toofan and a Tavera .
 Visited the following temples:
A. Kalbhairav mandir
B. Sandipani ashram where lord Krishna spent a few years as disciple
of Sandipani. The location of ashram on the bank of river shipra is
really magnificent and filled with spiritual aura.
C. Bhartrihari gufa .
D. Shani Maha dev mandir.
E. Kowdi Mathaji mandir.
F. KaliMathajimandir . The famous sanskrit scholar kalidas was
believed to the devotee of kalimatha.
G. Ujjain Observatory .

16.  We engaged a guide who explained to us the
significance and importance of every temple
and place visited by us.
 Due to early sunset we could not enjoy fully
the visit to the Observatory.
 Return back to hotel by at 19:30 had dinner
at21:30 and retired for the day.

17. Fifth Day(08-09-2009)
 With finished the breakfast at 8:30-vacated the hotel and
proceeded to Omkareshwar by engaging a Toofan and a Tavera.
 Reached Omkareshwar prachin mandir around 11:00am parked our
vehicles.
 Crossed Narmada by engaging two boats. After construction of
Narmada dam upstream there is no water in the river except that
released by the Power House.
 Had our bath in Narmada and visited Omkareshwar mandir
 Performed pujas also visited the Ved Pathasala and enjoyed the
recitation of vedas by the in mates .
 Had our lunch and return back to prachin Omkareshwar mandir by
3:00pm
 Left for Maheshwaram at 17:30 hours

19.  Reached Maheshwaram and settled down in
Madhuram guest House near Ahilya bai
palace.
Opposite to the guest House there is a small
hotel . We gave order with specific menu
 We had our dinner 22:30 hours after
refreshing ourselves .
 The food was indeed good so is the case with
the lodge .

20. Sixth Day(09-09-2009)
 All of us got up at 06:00am .Had garam poha and chai as breakfast.
 By 9:30am all of us got ready and visited the following temples
belonging to Holkar Royal family:
A. The palace temples located on the bank of narmada. Each temple
apart from being marvelous and magnificient are well maintained.
B. The Royal palace and
C. The Bunkar complex where several weavers families are located .
 Returned back and finished our lunch by 13:30 hours
 Most of us made purchases of Madhya Pradesh famous
Maheshwari sarees & dress materials .
 Vacated the lodge and left for Mandu at 16:30 hours.
 Reached Mandu 21:30 and settled down Jain Dharamashala .
 Had our dinner and retired at23:00 hours.

21. Seventh Day (10-09-2009)
 Got up at 6:00am and visited the Jain mandir and finished breakfast by
9:30am
 The Dharmashala is indeed provided five star facilites at no cost but we
donated on our own
 The break fast served by the mandir langar is in deed excellent
 Left for Local visit by engaging a guide and visited the following:
A. Jal Mahal
B. Archaeology department museum
C. Baz palace and
D. Chaturbhuj kaluram mandir
 Finished our lunch at 14:30 hours and left for Dhar.
 Visited the Shilpa Acharya Shilpa pradarshan . The pradarshan indeed is
very good many artfacets made of plaster of paris and metal were on
pradarshan in two huge halls.
 In the complex there were inumerable number of Bilva trees
 Left Dhar at 6:00pm reached Ujjain at 21:00 hours
 Settled in the same Myur lodge-had dinner and retired.

24. Eight Day (11-09-2009)
 Took complete rest. Every one work on his
own.

25. Ninth Day(12-09-2009)
 Got up early and packed up all belongings and vacated the lodge at
9:00am.
 we all had breakfast in a very good restaurant whare shri Porwal
and shri Ajay Ratna Parkhe of Bhairavi Travels who made travel
arrangements joined us .
 Visited Iskcon temple.
 Visited Bhairavi travels office where shri Porwal presented to us
momentos .
 Left for Indore at 13:00 hours. Enroute had our lunch reached
Indore at 19:00 hours.
 settled in shivani hotel close to bus stand.
 Some of us in one vehicle went around the city.
 Had our dinner at 21:30 horses retired .

26. Tenth Day (13-09-2009)
 Got up at 6:00am had breakfast and left for local visit of
indore by 9:00am
 visited the following temples:
A. Annapurna mandir
B. Ganapathi mandir
C. Ahilyabai palace
D. Royal palace located in chowk
 Had our lunch around 15:00 hourse
 Did shopping in sarafa bazar
 Had dinner /Heavy snacks in the popular khao gallies of
sarafa bajar.
 Returned to hotel by 21:30 hours and retired

28. Eleventh Day(14-09-2009)
 Except Shri K.S Prasad all the group left for Bhopal at
6:00am
 They reached Sanchi around 9:00am
 Visited Sanchi an other Budhistic monuments
 Reached Bhopal station by 15:00 hours had their lunch and
packed some food packets
 Boarded sampath kranthi express at 18:00 hours
 Reached back Hyderabad on 15-09-2009 at 22:00 hours /
carrying with them the unforgettable memories of Ujjain
yathra
 Mr KS Prasad reached back Mumbai by Avanthika express
on 15-09-2009 at 10:00 hours
