This document provides a checklist for fourth grade students to edit their writing. It includes formatting elements like indenting paragraphs and capitalization rules for the beginning of sentences, proper nouns, titles, greetings, closings, and holidays. Punctuation items on the list are ending punctuation, quotation marks, apostrophes, contractions, commas, dates, series, compound sentences, greetings and closings. The checklist also includes spelling, cities and states, and allows space to add other items to check.
