MOUNTAINS IN ANDALUSIA In Andalusia there are two principal mountain ranges: Sierra Morena and the Betic Chains. Sierra Morena is in the north. It´s old, low and eroded.

* FLORA * On the plain: In the forest there are trees, for example; pine, oak, and cork.
On the plain there are bushes, shurbs and aromatic plants, for  example thyme and rosemary.
By the riverside : There are willows , poplars , ashes next to the river
In marshes there are acuatic plants for example; rushes or  catails.
FAUNA In Andalusia there are important mammals . There are iberian lynxes, foxes and deer. The iberian lynxes live in Doñana  (Huelva)
FAUNA The deer live in  Sierra the Cazorla. The foxes live in  the forest.

KINDS OF CLIMATES Mediterranean climate is the typical climate of Andalusia. It covers most of Andalusia. The precipitacions are low and the temperatures are mild.
Coastal Mediterranean climate covers the lower part of Andalusia, the precipitacions occur in autumn and spring and the tempetures are extreme.
Mountain climate covers the mountains, precipitacions are abundant and the temperatures in winter are cold and in summer mild.
COASTS There are two coasts in Andalusia: The Mediterranean Coast and Atlantic Coast. - The Mediterranean coast is high and rocky due  to the proximity of Penibetic Chain to the sea. - The Atlantic coast is low and there are sandy beaches.

The main rivers are: Guadairo, Guadalhorce, Guadalfeo, and Almanzora. - The most important rivers in the Atlantic watershed is the Guadalquivir which is the longest in Andalusia.

Easter Easter is celebrate of the life of Jesús.It's in spring. We celebrate the easter with trumpets and drums.People wear special dress. The``pasos´´are very big they are made of metal or wood.On the top they have  saints and candles .

In pilgrimage we walk or ride a horse and or drive cars “carroza” . A “carroza” is a trailer decorated with shawls , paper lanterns, flowers and cloth ROMERIAS
We go to the country , to eat , and to dance. The most famous “romeria” is the “Rocío”  in Almonte (Huelva) and the “romeria” in Casariche is the “San Marcos”
Christmas At Christmas we eat with family . We make a Nativity scenes , we  Sing carrolls , we give presents  to our family.  We also decorante our house with lights , figures and we also put a  Chritsmas tree.
reyes magos In New Year´s Eve we eat twelve grapes. The Magi go in a carriage throwing  sweets and litte toys for people.
SEVILLE
The cathedral in Seville The Cathedral in Seville is the largest gothic cathedral in the  world and the third temple in size after
La Giralda It is 97,5 metres
high.
It is about eight  hundred years old.
Is the bell tower of the cathedral, but it used to be the minarette of a mosque.
La Plaza De España. It  was built by Aníbal González. It is in the center of Seville.Today the Plaza de España mainly consists of Goverment buildings.
Holy  week  in  Seville Holy week in Seville is one of the most important traditional events of the city. It is celebrated in the week leading up to  Easter and is one of the better known religious events within Spain.

La Torre del Oro. La Torre de Oro (The Gold Tower) is in Sevilla.  It is on the banks of the River Guadalquivir. It gets its name because when it,s sunny and you look at it, it appears to be made of gold.
Parque de María Luisa It's a beautiful big park in the centre of the city.There,you can find,animals,such as pigeons and ducks
APRIL FAIR April Fair is the most  famous  fair in Andalusia. THIS IS ENTRANCE OF THE APRIL FAIR THIS IS STALL OF THE APRIL FAIR THIS IS THE TYPICAL DRESS FOR WOMEN IN THE  APRIL FAIR OF SEVILLE.
- Archivo de Indias- This is the “Archivo de Indias” in  Seville, Spain. By decrete of Charles III, all the documentations regarding overseas empire was housed here.   INDIAS
Museo  arqeuologico It was built  from  1910  to  1915 by Anibal Gozalez.
Museo de Bellas   Artes The Museum of Fine   Arts of Seville is one  of the most   important in   Andalusia and the   second in Spain.The   museum has got   sculptures and   paintings.
CASARICHE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION Casariche is a town 122 km from Sevilla. Casariche is in the province of Sevilla. It has got 5,650 people. It's located at an altitude of 296 metres.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION In Roman times, our town was called Ventippo. Casariche has got a village called El Rigüelo.The river Yeguas goes through Casariche.
POINTS OF INTEREST The church:  The name of Casariche is “Ntra. Sra. de la Encarnación.” It is the most representative monument in Casariche. The church is from 17 century.
