Bryant Carthan is a senior consultant and trainer for the Towson University Center for Professional Studies who has over 20 years of experience in diversity training and leadership development. He has provided training to many large organizations on topics such as cultural diversity, leadership, communication, and performance coaching. Carthan holds two degrees and is a Marine Corps veteran.

Bryant Carthan – Senior Consultant and Trainer for the
Towson University Center for Professional Studies (CPS)
Since 1996, Bryant Carthan has been an accomplished Diversity
Trainer and Leadership Training Consultant. He is best known for
his previous work as an investigator in the Denny’s Discrimination
cases and diversity training work for organizations including IBM,
The Home Depot, Ford Motor Corp, Honda, General Electric,
Weyerhaeuser, Genuity, State Farm Insurance, Campbell Soup,
Godiva Chocolatier, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Talecris
Biotherapeutics, Capital Associated Industries, North and South
Carolina CPA Associations, and Maryland State employees, among
others.
Currently, he serves as Training Branch Head for Headquarters Marine Corps Community
Services where he provides training program leadership to approximately 15,000 DOD civilian
employees worldwide in direct support of Marines and their families.
In 2008, Bryant joined Towson University’s Center for Professional Studies Division as a senior
trainer and diversity training consultant assigned to the Maryland Transit Administration and
Maryland Aviation Administration.
