- City: Waikiki State: Hawaii Dukes Canoe Club on the island of Oa’hu, in Waikiki in the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel. Waikiki is a neighborhood of Honolulu, on the south shore of the island of O'ahu in Hawaii. The name means "spouting fresh water" in Hawaiian.

It is based on Neuschwanstein Castle, with some French inspirations (Notre Dame de Paris and the Hospices de Beaune especially). As Sleeping Beauty Castle is a Disney icon, it has become the basis for the logo of Walt Disney Pictures and other companies related to Disney.

At an elevation of 13,061 feet, it is the second highest mountain in Yosemite (after Mount Lyell). Mount Dana is named after James Dwight Dana, who was a professor of geology at Yale College.

- City: Stanley State: Idaho Redfish Lake in Idaho. It is named for the brilliant sockeye salmon that once returned from the Pacific Ocean in such massive quantities that the lake shimmered red during spawning season. Sadly, these fish are now on the endangered species list.

Preserved within Yellowstone National Park are Old Faithful (geyser) and a collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers and hot springs, and the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

- City: Salt Lake City State: Utah A portrait of a Mormon mother and her daughter at the Mormon Trail. The Mormon Trail is 1,300-mile route from Nauvoo, Illinois to Salt Lake City, Utah. Mormons were greatly persecuted in their early years and eventually found a home in the desert of Utah. In earlier days, they were associated with polygamy (having many wives), though the church now eschews this practice. They abstain from all alcohol, tobacco, coffee and tea. Mormons believe in active proselytization, and each strives to serve at least a year as a missionary.

- City: Aspen State: Colorado Hotel at 19th century silver mining town, Ashcroft Ghost Town, near Aspen known for winter scenery and resorts, Colorado. The town's last resident, Jack Leahy, died in 1939, making Ashcroft an official ghost town.

Route 66 is colloquially known as the “Main Street of America”. Route 66 was removed as an official highway system in 1985 but portions of it has been designated as a National Scenic Byway by the name “Historic Route 66”. It was referenced in the animated film Cars by Disney/Pixar.
- City: Mandan State: North Dakota Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park located south of Mandan in North Dakota, was once an important infantry and cavalry post. Ft. Abraham Lincoln was deeded to the state in 1907 by President Theodore Roosevelt.

Sun Studios was added to the list of National Historical Landmarks in July 31, 2003. It is also widely considered as the birthplace of rock & roll.

This exhibition was held from September 10, 2004 to February 28, 2005. The first United States Secretary of the Treasury , a Founding Father , economist , and political philosopher . He led calls for the Philadelphia Convention , was one of America's first Constitutional lawyers , and cowrote the Federalist Papers , a primary source for Constitutional interpretation .From the start, Hamilton set a precedent as a Cabinet member by formulating federal programs, writing them in the form of reports, pushing for their approval by appearing in person to argue them on the floor of the United States Congress, and then implementing them. Hamilton and the other Cabinet members were vital to Washington, as there was no president before him (under the Constitution) to set precedents for him to follow in national situations such as seditions and foreign affairs.

The tree, usually a Norway spruce 75 to 90 feet tall, has been put up every year since 1931. In 2008, the tree was lighted on December 3 and remained illuminated until January 9, 2009.

In 1874 Congress appropriated $15,000 to build a light station at the "Nubble" and in 1879 construction began. Cape Neddick Light Station was dedicated by the US Lighthouse Service and put into use on July 1, 1879. It is still in use today.
