2. Zheng He was born in China around 1371. His family
was a Muslim family and his original name was Ma
He. Most people think he was China’s most famous
navigator. Zheng He went on many famous
adventures, but sadly he passed away in the year 1435
around the age 65.
Sampson Beaumont was almost normal but not quite.
He is very independent and shy around everyone.
Something special about his family is that they have
special powers all unique in their own way. The

4. Two Explorer’s of the Past
(Samson’s point of view)
It’s the morning of my 13th Birthday, I wonder what will come. As I was getting up to
eat my breakfast, I suddenly appeared on a gigantic ship in the middle of the Pacific
Ocean. A strange Chinese man who looked familiar, charged up to me and started
asking me a bunch of questions, such as, “Who are you?, How did you get on my
ship?, and What is your name?” That’s when it hit me. He was Zheng He, the legen-
dary Chinese explorer! “Your Zheng He, the great explorer in my Social Studies book!
“Social Studies book?” Zheng He replied as he paced around the ship. It was so hot
I was sweating buckets, then he made me continue his on journey and we sailed
across the Pacific Ocean to the other side of the world. The sun crept down for quite
a while and I was getting very, very tired of seeing water ripple by me every single
day. After 5 bewildered days, the wind suddenly pulled me back onto the other side
of the world back with my family, and I told them about my epic journey and how I
met Zheng He. After that, we worked hard to make sure I scumbled my savvy.
5. Conclusion
Samson: He is a very independent person that loves to hide. He may be shy, but
he is very sweet and loveable. He may not talk much, but he is very nice and that’s
what matters. No one knows much about him, but once he speaks up, everyone will
love him. Samson is still very young, but he is sweet and kind and that’s why
everyone will like him. He is still very smart and everyone loves him for that, but one
day, it will get better and he will be more successful. We think that Samson is the
best character and that’s why we chose him.
Zheng He: He was on of China’s most known explorers and is still very popular.
He was given the position to be a commander in the Chinese Navy. He led 7 major
voyages in his lifetime. Zheng He’s (Ma He’s) father was killed in war and was very
devastated. He brought back many souvenirs from other lands and others were
very grateful for it. We think Zheng He was one of the greatest explorers of all time
and always will.
