The Retirement Plan
We see Jimmy and a hurt Mitch frantically making their way to their getaway car in the
gripping and intense opening scene of the The Retirement Plan Afdah. While driving, Jimmy's
wife Ashley begs him to take Mitch to the hospital right away. When Mitch succumbs to his
injuries, Ashley is tragically sucked into a vortex of terrifying emotions. While he tries to
remain calm, Jimmy tells Ashley to drive the car to the pier. When they arrive, he directs her
to board Mitch's boat while he steps aside to make a brief phone call.

The demonically terrifying short story "It Lives Inside Afdah" by Bishal Dutta plays up popular
genre hits from a distinctively cultural perspective. The difficulties of not being white in

No One Will Save You Afdah is story of Young Brynn Adams is a talented and
imaginative person who has been shunned by her community. Brynn, who struggles
with loneliness but never loses hope, finds solace within the confines of her childhood
home, where she stays until one night when strange noises from obviously
extraterrestrial intruders cause her to awaken. A variety of extraterrestrial beings who
both threaten Brynn's future and force her to confront her past engage her in an
