This document provides steps to calculate the look angle for observing a geostationary or GEO satellite. It outlines calculating the central angle, elevation angle, and intermediate angle. A GEO satellite is visible if the central angle is less than or equal to 81.3 degrees. It also lists the different azimuth angles needed depending on whether the observer is in the northern or southern hemisphere and the position of the satellite relative to the observer's east or west.
