3. TNG-POM in the Glance.
TNG-Palm Oil Mil(POM) is fully modular and all subsystem are commissioned at
the respective points of manufacture across the world at the “Rollses & Royces”,
of the respective specialty disciplines, including the building structures – all
building members are pre-engineered and CAD-CAM manufactured. All C&S
infrastructures are constructed situ, using precision steel formwork.
Every part constituting TNG system is part and integral part of TNG system; simply
means precision, and the implementation of the mill construction and project
management and control are “quasi Swiss-clockwork”. Therefore there is no
room for any slipshod.
TNG provides 24/7 automatic fruit receiving at the mill for immediate fruit
processing, therefore TNG needs no fruit storage provision at the mill, thus no
provision for fruit yard. Fruit harvest late in the day or from far away plantation
can be delivered on the same day, hence no need of intermittent storage
between plantation and the mill.
Another important TNG provision is to eliminate the weighbridge and fruit
grading before fruit processing. TNG incorporates fruit weighing and grading in
the fruit receiving and processing, in short, the fruit truck driver simply drives into
the mill, and TNG does all the rest.
The fruit load is automatically weighed and unloaded directly into the fruit
processing system wherein each FFB is individually and accurately graded and
weighed; loose fruit-lets are automatically separated and weighed. The data are
evaluated and printed before the fruit truck leaves the mill and can be
automatically transmitted to anywhere on Earth if needed!.
The process is highly computerized and incorporating the full implementation of
IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention & Control). All data are logged and
available to authorized access real-time from anywhere on Earth, including real-
time step process performance.

4. Extraordinary Salient Features of TNG Palm Oil Milling System Enables:
a. 24/7 operation with minimum manpower intervention.
b. Savings from eliminating the usual loss of palm oil inherent of all prior art
processes, totaling >8,560ton CPO per year for a 60ton/hour FFB mill
(assuming the prior art loss of oil as 17kg/ton FFB, 350 days at 24 hour
operation); taking a conservative average CPO price of USD500.00/ton,
yields a saving of USD4.28million/year, and using a more likely average CPO

5. TNG Plant-wide Automated Palm Oil Mill
TNG Palm Oil Mill is a plant-wide automated palm oil milling system - from the
fruit truck arrival at the mill gate to the discharge point of CPO to the tanker
truck. It has the capability of receiving fruit loads 24 hours with minimum
manpower intervention, and the fruit loads are processed concurrently as they
are discharged into the fruit receiving bins.
TNG Palm Oil Milling System is a modular, compact and highly integrated palm
oil milling system as reflected in Fig. 1A, 1B & 2. The 60-ton/hour FFB mill
occupies a 5.31 hectare mill compound which can be expanded to 90-ton/hour
FFB capacity with the same footprint. The expansion to 120ton/hour FFB
capacity may require marginal increase of footprint of not more than 10%.
TNG Palm Oil Milling System is a zero liquid discharge (ZLD), zero-oil loss and
zero-nut loss palm oil milling system that delivers dry solid-free CPO and
discharges only oil-free, dry solid by-products, and reclaims the process
wastewater for reuse as deionized water for boiler feed water and process
water supply, and as ultra-pure water for drinking water supply.
TNG Palm Oil Milling System utilizes cutting-edge technologies, consisting of
four proprietary modules:
1) Fruit Processing System,
2) Palm Oil Extraction System,
3) Palm Oil Purification System,

6. 1. Fruit Processing System
Fruit trucks are automatically registered at the mill gate and the fruit loads are
processed immediately to eliminate:
a. The provision of large stock holding yard,
b. The long delay in fruit processing, thus the unwarranted FFA generation in
the fruit, and
c. The overnight fruit storage for fruit harvested late in the day, or from far
distance plantation.
TNG Fruit Processing System yields only cleaned fruit-lets, free of all
contaminants (including dissolved matters). In short, nothing is transferred to
the downstream processes except the cleaned fruit-lets. All solid by-products
(including EFB) are discharged as oil-free dry solids; hence zero oil loss and
zero liquid effluent from the fruit processing system.
2. Palm Oil Extraction System
TNG Palm Oil Extraction System produces fully digested crude oil slurry,
consisting of:
a. Crude palm oil,
b. Water,
c. Oil cell debris and traces of mesocarp fibre fragment, and
d. nothing else.
TNG Palm Oil Extraction System delivers:
a. Complete rupture of oil cells,
b. Minimum release of phosolipids, glycolipids and partial glycerides into
the oil slurry,
c. Zero nut loss,
d. Oil-free dry nuts for downstream processing,
e. Oil-free dry solids to boiler as fuel, and part thereof for Disposal or
downstream processing, and
f. Zero liquid effluent.

7. 3. Palm Oil Purification System delivers:
a. Dry solid-free CPO (or with specific moisture as programmed),
b. Oil-free & solid-free process wastewater to TNG Process Water
