 Author and Keynote Speaker
 In many work teams you'll find a person that stands out without much fan-fare –
the kind of person that takes full responsibility for their job and can always be
counted on. They help others and quietly become the MVP of the work-team. Dan
is this kind of person. Not only is his work outstanding, but he has a great eye for
what needs to be done to motivate others.
 Dan is not the person you would think of to write a book on leadership. In fact,
most of his life has been spent in the working class ranks. From there he has a
unique perspective on this topic. His book, Leaders, Managers and Blue Collar
Perceptions, is one of the best books I have read for understanding the mindset
and motivation of workers in a factory setting.
 Dan was born in Montana, raised in Canada, and now currently resides in Orem,
Utah. He attended Utah State University majoring in forestry and earned a
Bachelor of Science Degree from that institution. Dan also holds an Associate's
Diploma from Lethbridge Community College where he majored in Wild land Park
Management. Dan enjoyed an abbreviated forestry career, and has since then been
employed in the food industry as a meat cutter, production support employee and
has served as a back-up to some of his first line leaders. Dan has also spent time
working in quality assurance. Dan enjoys writing having written various magazine
articles and is the author of two published books. Dan and his wife Kate have been
married for 28 years and have six children and seven grandchildren.
 Dan speaks in support of his book, Leaders, Managers and Blue Collar Perceptions.
His speaking events are more open conversations than lectures. Book Dan to learn
the true, un-filtered view from an hourly worker's perspective, delivered from a
man who truly knows both sides of the leadership issue. It is an honor to have
worked with Dan in a manufacturing setting and now as a member of my team
with Train My People.
 Mathew Gover BS, CSCS owns and operates EXL Fitness & Performance, Utah Valley’s
premier personal and group training studio. He is the originator of the EXL Fitness Boot
Camp.
 Training since 1995, Mat uses modified boot camp style workouts ideally created for body
transformations, sports conditioning and superior overall fitness. Mat’s education taught
him that without regular exercise and proper nutrition the body slowly breaks down into
a state of disease. His workouts and nutrition programs have helped hundreds of people
lower blood pressure and cholesterol, decrease diabetes, lose weight, eliminate aches and
pains, be stronger, more fit, and regain good health.
 A graduate with honors from the Athletic Training program at BYU, Mat is certified
through the prestigious National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He
specializes in fitness, nutrition re-education and gray area training (rehabilitating injuries
that don’t really warrant physical therapy, as well as taking somebody after physical
therapy to maximum performance. You know the “gray area” between therapy and the
top of your game). Mat has worked with physical therapists and athletic trainers to create
programs helping eliminate shoulder pain, back pain and core weakness which are
common problems due to today’s inactive lifestyle.
 Before opening EXL Fitness and Performance, Mat learned the business and managerial
side of health and wellness while serving as the Director of Performance at The Academy
of Maximum Performance where he oversaw the training of rehab clients, personal
training clients and athletes of all calibers. Mat’s versatility allows him to train clients in
any location from home, on the court, in the gym, to the park or even in a boardroom.
 Matt brings intensity and expertise to the clients of Train My People. He speaks on the
topics of fitness, nutrition but really teaches people to build a better life. He is passionate
about changing the way people live and eat. He is an example and an inspiration.
 Mat also improves business owners bottom line, by providing an action based corporate
wellness program. By providing on-site corporate workouts and nutrition education,
business owners can rely on Mat to help increase productivity and moral as well as
decrease absenteeism and health care costs.
 Mat practices the lifestyle choices he teaches and is an avid outdoor recreation enthusiast.
If he’s not in the gym training he’s most likely out in the mountains climbing, biking, trail
running or skiing. His motto: “Habitual exercise and proper nutrition opens opportunities
to enjoy life at its fullest.”
 Author and Keynote Speaker
 Experience is the best teacher, yet you do not want to experience what
this speaker/author has gone through to become a better parent, mentor
and friend to the youth in your life.
 A native of Utah, Julie married shortly after graduating High School. Her
son KC was born soon after. The young marriage failed and Julie was
thrust into the role of single parent. She began working in a
manufacturing plant to support her and her son. A few years later, Julie
married again and two more children entered her life. She continued to
work in manufacturing and does still today.
 KC, Julie's first son, was a promising young man. Easy to talk to, quick to
make friends, and quite good looking, he seemed to have life figured out.
Problems with addiction began to surface, but Julie and her family looked
past them -- hoping all would be fine. Once the problem advanced to a
point where it could not be disregarded, it was too late. Although they
went through counseling and classes, KC ultimately made the decision to
end his life at the end of a rope he tied in the rafters of his grandparent's
garage.
 Julie will take you through the early signs of addiction and depression
through the eyes of experience. This emotional and moving speech is one
all of us should have the privilege to see, hear and feel.
 Jason is passionate about teaching others how to navigate the often confusing
nutritional world, while living realistically in an over-processed, super-sized,
deep-fried society.
 Jason is a reformed food addict. In 90 days, He transformed his lifestyle, lost 42 lbs.,
normalized his blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides, and eliminated acid reflux
and back pain. His life changed physically and emotionally. Jason has mastered the art of
eating right—the way our bodies were designed to eat.
 Jason is passionate about teaching others how to navigate the often confusing
nutritional world, while living realistically in an over-processed, super-sized, deep-fried
society. The food industry designs food to be as appealing and as convenient as possible.
It’s ingrained in our culture to eat at every special occasion, or for no occasion at all.
Unhealthy food is not only convenient, but in our face every day, everywhere we go.
Food labels can be confusing. But despite all this, you can separate yourself from it all
and be healthy and happy… and still survive socially in a today’s fast-paced
environment. People walk away from Jason’s trainings entertained, enlightened, and
motivated to make a change today.
 As an active football and track athlete, Jason graduated high school at svelte 6’2” 195 lbs.
Over the years, as he became a father and award-winning sales professional in the
pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement industries, his athletic figure gradually
disappeared and the closest he came to football was with the remote control. Jason had
become the fat bald man he had always sworn he would never become. With the weight
came health concerns: high blood pressure, increased cholesterol and triglyceride levels,
acid reflux, and back pain. Over the years, he also became more susceptible to stress and
anxiety.
 Jason tried over and over again to lose weight without lasting success. No matter what
he tried, it was just too easy to revert back to old habits and give in to cravings. After
being defeated over and over, he had finally resigned himself to being heavy. Then he
was introduced to a whole-foods eating program through Somae Health.
 The health benefits he experienced ignited a passion in Jason to share the message with
so many others that are slaves to their eating habits. Jason continued his quest for
knowledge on proper nutrition and wellness. He later joined the Somae team and has
developed a training series on how to break free from food addictions and discover the
freedom that comes with true health and wellness.

 Author andKeynote Speaker  In many work teams you'll find a person that stands out without much fan-fare – the kind of person that takes full responsibility for their job and can always be counted on. They help others and quietly become the MVP of the work-team. Dan is this kind of person. Not only is his work outstanding, but he has a great eye for what needs to be done to motivate others.  Dan is not the person you would think of to write a book on leadership. In fact, most of his life has been spent in the working class ranks. From there he has a unique perspective on this topic. His book, Leaders, Managers and Blue Collar Perceptions, is one of the best books I have read for understanding the mindset and motivation of workers in a factory setting.  Dan was born in Montana, raised in Canada, and now currently resides in Orem, Utah. He attended Utah State University majoring in forestry and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from that institution. Dan also holds an Associate's Diploma from Lethbridge Community College where he majored in Wild land Park Management. Dan enjoyed an abbreviated forestry career, and has since then been employed in the food industry as a meat cutter, production support employee and has served as a back-up to some of his first line leaders. Dan has also spent time working in quality assurance. Dan enjoys writing having written various magazine articles and is the author of two published books. Dan and his wife Kate have been married for 28 years and have six children and seven grandchildren.  Dan speaks in support of his book, Leaders, Managers and Blue Collar Perceptions. His speaking events are more open conversations than lectures. Book Dan to learn the true, un-filtered view from an hourly worker's perspective, delivered from a man who truly knows both sides of the leadership issue. It is an honor to have worked with Dan in a manufacturing setting and now as a member of my team with Train My People.

 Author andKeynote Speaker  Experience is the best teacher, yet you do not want to experience what this speaker/author has gone through to become a better parent, mentor and friend to the youth in your life.  A native of Utah, Julie married shortly after graduating High School. Her son KC was born soon after. The young marriage failed and Julie was thrust into the role of single parent. She began working in a manufacturing plant to support her and her son. A few years later, Julie married again and two more children entered her life. She continued to work in manufacturing and does still today.  KC, Julie's first son, was a promising young man. Easy to talk to, quick to make friends, and quite good looking, he seemed to have life figured out. Problems with addiction began to surface, but Julie and her family looked past them -- hoping all would be fine. Once the problem advanced to a point where it could not be disregarded, it was too late. Although they went through counseling and classes, KC ultimately made the decision to end his life at the end of a rope he tied in the rafters of his grandparent's garage.  Julie will take you through the early signs of addiction and depression through the eyes of experience. This emotional and moving speech is one all of us should have the privilege to see, hear and feel.

 Jason ispassionate about teaching others how to navigate the often confusing nutritional world, while living realistically in an over-processed, super-sized, deep-fried society.  Jason is a reformed food addict. In 90 days, He transformed his lifestyle, lost 42 lbs., normalized his blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides, and eliminated acid reflux and back pain. His life changed physically and emotionally. Jason has mastered the art of eating right—the way our bodies were designed to eat.  Jason is passionate about teaching others how to navigate the often confusing nutritional world, while living realistically in an over-processed, super-sized, deep-fried society. The food industry designs food to be as appealing and as convenient as possible. It’s ingrained in our culture to eat at every special occasion, or for no occasion at all. Unhealthy food is not only convenient, but in our face every day, everywhere we go. Food labels can be confusing. But despite all this, you can separate yourself from it all and be healthy and happy… and still survive socially in a today’s fast-paced environment. People walk away from Jason’s trainings entertained, enlightened, and motivated to make a change today.  As an active football and track athlete, Jason graduated high school at svelte 6’2” 195 lbs. Over the years, as he became a father and award-winning sales professional in the pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement industries, his athletic figure gradually disappeared and the closest he came to football was with the remote control. Jason had become the fat bald man he had always sworn he would never become. With the weight came health concerns: high blood pressure, increased cholesterol and triglyceride levels, acid reflux, and back pain. Over the years, he also became more susceptible to stress and anxiety.  Jason tried over and over again to lose weight without lasting success. No matter what he tried, it was just too easy to revert back to old habits and give in to cravings. After being defeated over and over, he had finally resigned himself to being heavy. Then he was introduced to a whole-foods eating program through Somae Health.  The health benefits he experienced ignited a passion in Jason to share the message with so many others that are slaves to their eating habits. Jason continued his quest for knowledge on proper nutrition and wellness. He later joined the Somae team and has developed a training series on how to break free from food addictions and discover the freedom that comes with true health and wellness.
