The HPM machines are intended for the universal production of high
quality parts with 3, 4 or 5 axes.
State of the art motor spindles, directly driven circular and swivelling
axes and stable construction procide the ideal conditions for
economical and accurate machining with modern tools.
Great attention has been paid to the
chip flow in the working area. Sharply
inclining side walls direct the chips
reliably into the machine bed. The
chips are then transported on two
spiral chip conveyors to a highly
efficient lift up conveyor system.
The doors can be opened wide to
enable unrestricted access to the
working area. The protecting glass
windows offer a unrestricted view of
the machining process. Whatever
options the MIKRON HPM is equipped
with, maximum accessibility is always
ensured. The work table, pallet and
tool magazine, as well as chip removal
are easily accessible, including the
maintenance units. Naturally, the work
table can be loaded via crane.

Heidenhain iTNC 530 and a clearly laid

4. Our LASER 1200 5Ax five-axis
Laser texturing machine boast
features dedicated to texturing molds
for tire sidewalls. A highly rigid
mechanical concept with cast iron
construction for exceptional
positioning accuracy make the LASER
1200 5Ax the solution of choice for
accurate texturing of large tire molds.
Capable of texturing pieces up to 1600
mm in diameter, the LASER 1200 5Ax
boasts oversize doors for easy part
loading by an overhead crane.
Texturing is digitized with a bitmap gray
scale of the image to be applied, and can
be created in house or derived from any
natural surface by reverse engineering
with a 3D scanner. Further special,
holographic effects can be reproduced
on the tire itself, allowing our texture,
logo or message to change under
various lighting conditions.

5Ax makes it easy to apply your
lettering, for example, along the
diameter of a tire mold. Our solution
allows you to highlight the text or

and LASER Design software makes the
application of lettering, drawings or
textures on curved mold surfaces and
the diameter of the mold intuitive and
effortless.
Using the software’s preview feature,
you immediately see how your design
will be executed. As a result, guess
work is eliminated. What you see is
what you get.
The included software package allows
you to create or import any texture you
need, including geometric forms or
continuous textures like animal skins,
for example.
