Re: Timothy Mintargo
To Whom it May Concern:
I taught Tim in a third year subject in taken within the Department of Chemical and
Biomolecular Engineering, University of Melbourne in second semester last year
(2016). The subject, Process Engineering Case Studies, is a core design-based subject
that extensively uses team work, open-ended problem solving, in-class continuing
assessment and flipped learning. Technical topics covered include safety (eg QRA,
HAZOP, safety management) and environment (Heat Integration, Environmental
Impact Assessment, Waste). Technical writing, teamwork and leadership skills are
also assessed.
Tim performed well in this subject, being placed within the top 20% of students in the
cohort.
I remember Tim as an engaged and approachable student, who was also rated highly
by his peers in our multiple team assessment surveys.
Please contact me if I can be of further assistance.
