The organization was founded in 2007 by four former inmates to develop reformative programs in prisons. More than 250 inmates benefited from programs that reformed over 48 lifers and enabled their release. The founders now use their proven curriculum and success to implement youth and adult reentry programs. The organization offers courses on topics like gang rehabilitation and domestic violence prevention. They currently have 45 participants and 200 on a waiting list at Valley State Prison, and their programs have reached inmates across 11 California prisons.
