Employees must record their hours worked on a daily basis using the provided timekeeping system. Timesheets are submitted every two weeks on the last day of the assigned work week prior to Saturday. Exempt employees should record 8 hours per day, noting actual hours or paid time off for days worked less than 4 hours. Non-exempt employees cannot work over 8 hours a day or 40 hours a week without permission and should record holiday time on timesheets if their normal workday falls on a holiday.

2. All employees must record their hours on a daily basis-
using the timekeeping system provided.
~Your hours must be
recorded accurately, according to
State and Federal Laws and Guidelines.

3. You must input your time on a daily basis.
~In other words: Record your hours at the end of that particular workday.
Do not rely on your memory at the end of the work week!
You are not permitted to record your time
in advance of the day you work -
with the exception of when you are taking paid time off.

4. The work week begins on Sunday and ends on Satur
Timesheets will be submitted every 2 weeks,
on the last day of your assigned work week,
prior to Saturday evening that the pay period ends.
You will have 26 pay periods per year.

6. Exempt employees should record 8 hours per assigned work day.
When working less than 4 hours in a work day -
an exempt employee should record the actual time worked
and complete the rest of the 8 hour day as
“Paid time off”, “Leave without pay”, “Sick”, etc.
An exempt employee who works less than 8 hours per day
but more than 4 hours, should record the full 8 hours as worked.

7. Non-Exempt employees are not to work more than an 8 hour day
without permission from their supervisor or manager.
In addition, non-exempt employees do not
have permission to work more than a 40 hour week
without authorization from their supervisor or manager.

Non-Exempt Employees:
If your normal workday is scheduled on a Holiday,
record your work time as well as Holiday time
for the Holiday(s) worked on your timesheet.
