               Thomas Paine was born on February 9, 1737 in Norfolk.
               England to Joseph (a Quaker corset maker) and Frances Pain(e)

               Paine emigrated from Great Britain to Philadelphia in 1774.

               Wrote the greatest political tract from the Revolution, Common
               Sense.

               Was an “author, pamphleteer, inventor, intellectual,
               revolutionary, and one of the Founding Fathers of the United
               States.”
