This powerful powerpoint, PROOF OF GOD'S EXISTENCE, was forwarded to me by a friend. The name of its compiler was not included in the forward, nevertheless, I feel confident that HE who put it in the mind of compiler to complete and share, will reward him openly. Thank you, whoever you are.
This document provides an overview of arguments for and against the existence of God. It discusses the complexity of the universe and life as an argument for a creator or designer. It also considers scientific explanations for the origin and laws of the universe as arguments against the need for God. The document outlines beliefs about God in major religions and considers whether an all-powerful God could exist given the amount of suffering in the world. It presents counterarguments that God's existence cannot be proven and that religious beliefs may require suspending logical thought.
The document discusses the existence of God from scientific and philosophical perspectives. It summarizes evidence from cosmology that the Big Bang implies an initial creator due to the extreme fine-tuning of physical constants and early universe conditions required for life. Alternative scientific explanations like eternal existence or multiverse theories are critiqued for making unjustified assumptions. The document concludes that while God's existence can't be proven, the likelihood of God as the best explanation for the origin and fine-tuning of the universe is high based on the presented evidence and analysis.
Janice Stark was born in Racine, Wisconsin in 1951. She enjoys hobbies like history, gardening, cooking and camping. Her dream is to work from home and vacation at beaches in Alabama and Florida. Her short-term goals are to complete her college degree, get a job, buy a new car, and take a vacation. Her long-term goals are to grow spiritually through prayer and meditation, be a good family member and community member, return to independent work, and pay off her house within 7 years.
This was a presentation we used along with \'How to choose your God\' in our Church youth Bible Study group. It presents a logical framework to understand the existence of God and how God reveals Himself thru creation, conscience, communication (over the ages) and ultimately thru Christ.
St. Patrick's Day is celebrated on March 17th each year to honor St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. St. Patrick brought Christianity to Ireland in 432 AD after being captured there as a slave when he was 16 years old. Today, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated around the world with parades, wearing of green, and legends of leprechauns guarding pots of gold at the end of rainbows.
