I believe humans and organisations can
transform themselves towards what they
truly desire and are genuinely capable of
creating a lasting shift in themselves.
However, this requires exploring the
depths of our thinking, unearthing our
beliefs and challenging them in a safe
environment. Therefore, my work with
individuals goes beyond skills
enhancement or performance
improvement; instead I aim to co-create
a space with my clients where they can
bring about true development by
becoming more self-aware, safely
confronting their current reality and
devising authentic ways to express the
new found self-awareness. I am also
integrative in approach as I borrow from
and am informed by various disciplines
such as psychology, anthropology,
sociology, philosophy and the latest
research in Neuroscience.

remains on mutual exploration.
Having said that, I adhere to the following
developmental process that serves as a
guiding a philosophy in my coaching
conversations. It is an evidence-based
process rooted in the theory of Adult
Learning and Development –

Coaching Model
•Asking for meaning
This entails asking questions that
enable both my client and I to arrive
at a deeper understanding of the
issues at hand. Whilst this allows me to
develop a contextual understanding
of the client’s world, it offers the client,
perhaps a first chance to tell their
story unencumbered not only to
another human being but sometimes
also to themselves. This aids in
undertaking some framing and
reframing of the challenges and
issues. A space to formulate
alternative perspectives and readings
of the narrative gets created in the
process.
•Building a new perspective
This involves introduction of new
perspectives and options that create
a sense of new choices for the client.
Such an exploration encourages the
client to develop a holistic and a
more encompassing view of not just
the issues at hand but also of his/her
orientation to life.
•Creating a bridge
At this stage clients are enabled to
move forward with a sense that their
new perspectives and understanding
are connected and relevant to their
previously articulated reality.
• Developing action
Here a plan is developed that details
how new learning and perspectives
will be brought forward in the client’s
daily functioning. Hence forth, I
support the client in carefully
implementing new learning and
insights and through any new
challenges that this may ensue until
the end of the coaching program.

Coaching Expertise and Experience
Jinny has been coaching groups and individuals since year 2000 across various
verticals. Her coaching work has ranged from life coaching for private clients to
undertaking executive and leadership coaching assignments in diverse organisations.
With being awarded a Merit in her Masters in Coaching at the Oxford Brookes
University, she has devoted more than 500 hours towards one on one coaching work. In
the UK, Jinny has worked with AstraZeneca and Priory Healthcare. In India, she has
worked with Vardhman Steel and Textiles, Sandhar Technologies Ltd and is coaching a
few start-up founders on creating agile organisations.
Coaching Modality
To begin, we at Thinking Partners recommend a three way meeting between the client,
the sponsor and the coach. The purpose would be to ensure that the client is fully
enrolled in the process of coaching and there is a mutual understanding of the process
and overall aims of the coaching endevour. We recommend following fortnightly or
monthly 90-minute sessions for a minimum period of 4 to 6 months. These will be
interspersed by regular update sessions with the sponsor or the HR function. It is
important to note that the content of the sessions will remain confidential. The
organisation will be kept informed at regular intervals of the overall progress and any
specific issues as part of the pre-agreed 3-way contract.
Commercials
Each 90-minute session is charged at Rs 12,000. Each 60-minute session is charged at Rs
8,000. The mentioned rates are exclusive of service tax.

  • 2. 2 Jinny  is  a  Learning  and  Development  consultant  with  the  experience  of  developing   learning  interventions  and  coaching  people  across  diverse  verticals.  With  a   Bachelors  in  Business  Administration,  over  a  decade  of  experience  in  the  corporate   sector  (both  in  India  and  the  UK)  and  a  Masters  in  Coaching  and  Development   (Oxford  Brookes  University,  UK)  she  is  ideally  placed  to  understand  the  challenges   of  the  corporate  life  and  organisations  and  have  the  expertise  to  devise   interventions  to  address  them   Jinny  on  her  approach  and  philosophy  –     I believe humans and organisations can transform themselves towards what they truly desire and are genuinely capable of creating a lasting shift in themselves.
