The HTSX self-regulating heating cable is designed for process temperature maintenance or freeze protection where high temperature exposure is required. It automatically varies its heat output in response to surrounding temperatures along the entire length of heat-traced pipes. It is approved for use in ordinary and hazardous areas and has maximum maintenance and exposure temperatures of 250°F and 482°F respectively. The cable consists of copper bus wires, a semiconductive heating matrix, copper braid, and fluoropolymer overjacket.
