Jesus taught his disciples, opening his mouth to teach them many things that brought change. He taught a change of priorities, thoughts, and hopes. Specifically, he taught that the kingdom of heaven should be a top priority, our example is important, and true treasure is deeper than what we think. He brought a fresh, new meaning to the eternal word unlike the scribes, astonishing crowds with his authority and teaching of changed life.
This document discusses the biblical concept of repentance from sin. It defines repentance as acknowledging and assuming responsibility for personal sins, asking God for forgiveness and making a decision to separate from sinful behaviors and desires. True repentance requires a verbal confession of sins to God as well as a behavioral change involving turning away from darkness and toward righteousness. God demonstrates His desire for relationship by providing a way to forgiveness through Jesus Christ's sacrifice, and humanity can prove their desire to restore intimacy with God through repentance from sin.

1) God created life on Earth and cares for all his creations, from sparrows to humans. He gave laws and teachings to help people live healthy lives.
2) Humans are both physical and spiritual beings. To live fully, one must accept new spiritual birth through Christ to gain eternal life.
3) God created people to live in community with others. True happiness comes from cultivating social relationships and using one's gifts to bless others.
This document discusses the intimate relationship that God desires with each individual person. It explains that while humans may perceive God as distant, God sees each person as uniquely created and values each soul. It also explains how sin separated humanity from God but that Jesus's sacrifice allows people to open the door to a deeper relationship with God through faith in Him. The document encourages readers to reflect on their own relationship with God and whether they want it to deepen.
1) The document is the ministry statement of M. Barrett Davis, outlining their view that God is reconciling all things through Christ by creating unity between once-divided humans.
2) Davis believes God is achieving this through personal and communal love in the church, breaking down divisions in the still-divided world. This love and unity is the purpose of the church and the way of peace for all humanity.
3) Davis' purpose is to create spaces, like the house church they found peace in, where people can pray, grieve, celebrate, and be in relationship with God and each other through Christ, guided into this reconciling love.

1) The document discusses the importance of giving offerings to God out of gratitude for what He has given us. It emphasizes that we should give God our best offerings, not just leftovers, and that our motive for giving should be one of love and gratitude rather than obligation.
2) Several Bible verses are referenced that encourage believers to "lay up treasures in heaven" through generous giving of our time, talents and money to spread the gospel message.
3) While the amount given is less important than the willingness, believers should give cheerfully and not grudgingly in response to experiencing God's love in their lives. Giving is an act of faith and trust in God to provide for our needs.
In this conversation with God, the individual asks several questions about finding purpose, overcoming difficulties, and finding happiness. God responds with guidance and encouragement, emphasizing that focusing one's thoughts positively can change one's destiny, that letting go of the past makes way for new beginnings, and that serving others by living in the present moment and through forgiveness are keys to joy. God also welcomes the individual to their local church to continue their spiritual journey together through faith, hope and growing in love.
God's plan of salvation involves three significant results: justification, adoption, and regeneration. Justification means God declares believers righteous because their sins were placed on Jesus. Adoption means believers become children of God and part of His family. Regeneration refers to being spiritually reborn or transformed as a new creation through faith in Christ. These gifts flow from God's costly love and save believers from sin and separation from God.
The document contains Scripture readings from John 1:14-18 about Jesus Christ coming from God and making God known to humanity. It then discusses the importance of practicing quality time in relationships, listing the five love languages. Quality time requires initiative and intention to give one's undivided attention and make another person a priority over other activities. The document encourages evaluating how one spends time and manages priorities to better communicate love through quality time with others and with God.
God exists as a loving Person who created humanity, desires a close relationship, and sent Jesus to redeem us. The Bible teaches that God is eternal and exists as the Trinity - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each person exhibits attributes like will and personality. God is also holy, just, merciful, and forgiving. He invites relationship and wants us to know Him intimately through faith in Jesus, who paid for our sins through His death and resurrection.

His patience is shown through delaying judgment to give people time to repent, such as waiting 120 years while Noah built the ark. God's love, kindness, and patience help lead people to repentance. God freely gives His grace and favor through salvation in Jesus Christ, though we are unworthy. The greatest examples of God's mercy and grace are seen through Jesus coming to die for humanity's sins so that we may be forgiven and redeemed.

True goodness comes from having one's heart transformed by God's grace. Good works alone do not make one good - it is having the fruit of goodness planted within by the Spirit. Christians are called to demonstrate their goodness through kind acts done with humility and for the benefit of others. True goodness is a gift from God, not something we earn ourselves.
This is a collection of some of the best writings on the topic of the Holy Spirit and beauty. Not many have written on this issue and so these few are special.

This document outlines the schedule and topics for a talk on the purpose of man. It discusses that God alone can determine our purpose, which is to be united with Him. It provides evidence from scripture and the church that God created humans to be with Him. Finally, it explains that through Jesus, humanity has a way to be united with God, and that Jesus remains present in the world through the Holy Spirit since His ascension into heaven.
This document provides an overview of a class on the gospel and what it means to be a Christian. It discusses:
- The gospel is the good news about God's salvation through Jesus Christ. It tells the story of God's kingdom and how Jesus redeems humanity.
- All people are sinners deserving of God's judgment, but Jesus lived a perfect life and died for sins so all who believe in him can be forgiven and saved.
- To become a Christian, one must admit they are a sinner, believe in Jesus as savior, consider fully committing their life to him, and trust in him alone for salvation rather than any good works.
- Being a Christian means having a
This document discusses how Christians can acquaint themselves with God on a daily basis. It explains that Jesus is the way to know God, as he has revealed the Father. To acquaint oneself with God means to submit to him and become familiar with him by coming to Jesus in faith. The Holy Spirit living within believers is key, as he teaches us spiritual truths and allows us to understand God. True acquaintance with God involves yielding to the Spirit's guidance and abiding in Christ through faith, not by sight.
This document discusses the topic of vocation and connecting faith to daily life and work. It provides biblical passages about work being good and having limits. It defines vocation as a calling from others rather than for oneself. Vocation is described as serving others using God-given gifts and being part of God's work. The document offers three questions to help find one's vocation based on passion, proficiency, and prospects. It concludes that work is ultimately good and we will work forever in bringing glory to God.
This document presents the gospel message and explains how to receive salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. It discusses that eternal life is a free gift from God, all people are sinners, God provided a way for salvation through Jesus's death and resurrection, and salvation is received through faith in Jesus alone. It provides a sample prayer to accept Jesus as savior and receive eternal life.
God demands holiness and no sins, but sees humanity as lacking holiness and being full of sins. Man cannot remedy this through trying harder, balancing good deeds with sins, or comparing themselves to others. God's remedy is His great exchange - Jesus lived a holy life in our place and died for our sins, and through faith in Him we receive His holiness and sins are removed. This new relationship with God through Christ brings blessings of new life now, eternal life in heaven, and power for daily living.
The document discusses the importance of the Holy Spirit, noting that it was for our good that Jesus went away and sent the Holy Spirit. It explains that the Holy Spirit is God and is therefore omniscient and omnipresent. The Holy Spirit helps believers know, be, and do what God wants and makes living the Christian life possible.
1) The document discusses how to receive eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ as a free gift. It explains that all people are sinners, and cannot save themselves through good works. It describes how Jesus lived a sinless life and died on the cross to pay the penalty for sins.
2) To receive salvation, one must transfer their trust from their own works to Christ's work on the cross, accept Jesus as their savior and lord, and repent of their sins. The document provides a sample prayer to receive Christ.
3) For those who believe, it welcomes them to God's family and encourages growing in faith through reading the Bible, prayer, worship, fellowship, and witnessing to others
Our God is neither seeking praise and worship singing specialists, nor is He seeking pastors, teachers of the Word, prophets, evangelists, servants, christian converts etc.. He is seeking sons and daughters who will spend quality time in the intimacy of His presence, beyond the veil, in His chambers, and take the time to lay their hearts against His and listen as He whispers kingdom secrets.
Grace and faith must be balanced. Grace refers to what God does, providing salvation, healing, and prosperity through Jesus. Faith is our response of believing in and receiving what God has already provided. If either grace or faith is emphasized alone without the other, it leads to error. Both are needed - we are saved by grace through faith. God's grace is equally extended to all, but one must have faith to access its benefits.
The document summarizes the three core beliefs of Calvary church:
1) The Bible is God's trustworthy message for all people.
2) Jesus is the only way of salvation.
3) Everyone in the world needs to hear God's story.
It then provides more details about each belief, including explanations of who Jesus is and what the Bible is, as well as calls for people to accept Jesus as their savior and share God's message with others.
This document outlines the biblical way of salvation according to John 3:1-21. It discusses the need for salvation due to man's sinful nature, the power of salvation which comes through God's work and man's faith, and the life of salvation where believers experience prevenient, progressive, and perfecting grace. It notes that while salvation reconciles man to God, believers still face consequences of sin on earth. It concludes that one is born again by water (cleansing from sin), spirit (empowerment to live holy), and faith (obedient response), as explored in scripture.
The document discusses Christian stewardship of talents, time, body, possessions, and material resources. It explains that God has given each person gifts and resources to use wisely in service to Him. As stewards, believers must manage their talents, time, health, money, and property responsibly and use them to glorify God and help others until Christ's return.
God chooses certain people to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ. This is known as election. The document discusses who the elect are, why God chose them, and how they are saved by grace through faith in Christ. It also addresses the relationship between election, free will, God's will, and universal grace. While some concepts like election by grace alone and God extending universal grace to all seem paradoxical, Scripture supports both. Ultimately, the complex questions about election, free will, and God's secret will that are beyond human understanding are not to divide Christians, but to humble us and lead us to gratitude for God's gift of salvation.

When we pray, we will see that everyone seems to have a different object of prayer. Some people pray to God the Father, and some people pray to Jesus Christ. It seems that they are all gods, and it seems to be the same as whoever prays.
Now we will study whether there is any difference between them from the scriptures of the Bible. We will see the roles of each other from the three-in-one God and their mutual connection. In this way, when you pray, you will not pray to the wrong object

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

What comes in to your mind when you hear the word treasure?
Why is God the only treasure? - When we say treasure, things like money, gold, jewelry are the first things that come into mind. For the parent's the best treasure they usually tell that they can give their children is education and love. According to Matthew 6:21,Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.Treasure brings happiness. St. Augustine clarified that HAPPINESS in the truest sense is only possible with God. one way to think of it is like this: Remember the happiest moment of your lives. And think of how happy you were during those moments. After remembering those happy memories or those prominent memories that is truly unforgettable to you, can you say that you are still as happy as today compared to the day it happened? no right? even though we are happy that those things happened, it is now only a part of our memory, the happiness fades away. But if you are in the presence of God the happiness will never end. Once you are in the presence of the happiness with God will go on forever. God is the only source of true happiness. The luxury, earthly things, the comfort, that we are experiencing here on earth are only temporary and are not meant to remain. We gain access to overwhelming happiness as we approach the Ultimate Good. Supreme Good may only be truly found in God.
Why is God the supreme value?-God is virtue what is virtue it is defined as moral excellence; goodness. And god alone is full of goodness, he alone is righteous, all of the good things came from him and was created by him. He alone is the virtue. In him we find peace and love and all the other virtues that we may know of for as it is said earlier God is the Highest Good and the only one to attain this level of goodness. One has to be righteous for it pleases God. Through faith and obedience to Gods words makes one rightheos in the eyes of God..
From a parent’s point of view, it is educating and loving their children which is the first thing that comes to their mind when they hear the word treasure..
