The idea of ‘Wireless Sensor Network’ (WSN) is the basic building block of a water quality monitoring using wireless sensor network (WSN) technology. To monitor water quality over different sites as a real-time application, an excellent system architecture constituted by distributing sensor nodes and a base station is suggested. The nodes and base station are connected using WSN technology like Zigbee. Base stations are connected via Ethernet. Design and implementation of a prototype model using WSN technology are the challenging work. Data collected by various sensors on the node side such as pH, turbidity and oxygen level is sent via WSN to the base station. Data collected from the remote site can be displayed in visual format as well as it can be analyzed using different simulation tools at the base station. This novel system has advantages such as no carbon emission, low power consumption, more flexible to deploy at remote sites and so on.

Child themes inherit functionality from a single parent theme and allow customizing a site's look and functionality. Child themes work by overriding or modifying the parent theme's functions and templates. Parent themes house a theme's design, functionality, and templates, and can use frameworks but are not frameworks themselves. While child themes provide upgradeability and customization, they can lower performance and be confusing to work with. Developers should focus on creating robust parent themes with simple child themes rather than complex child themes.
WordCamp Miami 09 - WP Framework
WP Framework is a WordPress theme framework created by Ptah Dunbar that aims to provide everything needed for building WordPress themes and nothing extra. It has design principles focused on being efficient, modular, extensible, and developer-friendly. Key features include organized folders, valid HTML/CSS, over 30 hooks and filters, and a goal of raising standards for WordPress themes. The future plans include a theme builder and growing the WP Framework community.
