Hatch Ambassadors
● Minimum Qualifications
○ Fulltime, enrolled student.
○ Second year or higher class standing.
○ Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
● Requirements
○ Attend two training sessions, one in the spring and one in the fall.
■ Go over details about The Hatch to familiarize Ambassadors
with the entire program.
■ Learn how to register other students’ skills.
■ Prepare for The Hatch Fair.
○ Attend the Hatch Fair, give out information about participating.
■ Talk to prospective participants from respective colleges.
■ Register students for The Scrambler.
○ Keep in contact with registered students throughout the semester,
provide assistance and answer questions.
○ Provide assistance at The Scrambler and/or Hatch events if needed.

The Hatch Fair
● The first Hatch Fair is to be held September 12th, 2016 (tentative
date) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the
BowenThompson Student Union.
○ There will be a table for each college that provides information
on how to signup, the benefits offered and the process of
participating.
● Bring in speakers, ideally past participants or current faculty, that can
share their experiences with The Hatch.
● Highlight important dates and events (deadlines, The Scrambler, etc).
● This event allows the student body to come out and learn about The
Hatch.
● Advertise as a networking brunch; this will be a large selling point for
graduate students to attend.
● Have computers at each table for the Hatch Ambassadors to register
students’ talents for The Scrambler.
● Students who attend and provide their email address will receive
incentives, such as iPad Minis or “swag bags”.
○ Use emails collected to send out an email encouraging
students to register their talents, if they have not already.
○ Those who register their talent at the Hatch Fair will receive a
different raffle ticket to be entered to win one of two iPad minis.
