The WorldWatchReport study found that demand for haute horlogerie brands increased 14% in 2009 despite economic difficulties. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, and IWC Portuguese were the most searched models. Demand from BRIC countries like China, Brazil, Russia and India accounted for over 12% of searches, with China making up 38% of BRIC searches. Facebook has over 300,000 fans subscribed to watch brand pages, with Hublot gaining the most new fans.
