Download and email your completed RIAA membership packet with 2 copies of
sound recordings released by your company to RIAAmembership@riaa.com.

Formed in 1937, by Sound Editor James Wilkinson along with Film Editors Ben
Lewis and Philip Cahn.
Two Locations: Los Angeles and New York
Over 8,000 Freelance and Staff Post-Production professionals.

10. Requirements to Join
● Letter from a non-union employer
● Proof of payment for non-union work experience
● Attend Orientation Meeting at Local 700
● Submit paperwork to CSATF
● Pay the Initiation and Process fees
Assistant Editor must have 100 days of non-union experience
Editor must have 175 days
Trailer Editor must have 100 days
Initiation Fee

Formed in 1962, when Ben Brady the president of the Television Producers Guild
and Walter Mirisch Screen Producers Guild merged into Producers Guild of
America.

Professional Experience
● Feature Films(2) : Released in minimum of (2) cities while in theaters for at
least a week or Streamed online(Netflix, Amazon, Hulu) or Streamed at a major
Film Festival.
● Short Films(5): see above, 40 minutes or less including all credits
● Episodic TV.(13): Streamed(Netflix, Amazon,Hulu)
● Two References and PGA Sponsor
● Cost of Membership Application $50
● Producers Council - Initiation Fee $725 and Annual Dues $425
