4. The 3 Main Kinds of Stroke!
1) Transient Ischemic Attack (TIAs) “mini
strokes” “short term strokes”. Blood supply
to brain interrupted for short time.
2) Hemorrhage stroke “bleeding” weakened
vessel that ruptures and bleeds into
surrounding brain.
3) Ischemic stroke “clots” obstructions within
vessels that supply brain.

Darah Nelson experienced a stroke at a very young age. She was younger than the average stroke patient. On October 18, 2012 she was found in her office by a family friend with the door closed and not responding. The person who found Darah was a past experience stroke patient. She recognized signs of a stroke on Darah. Take a closer look!

*3 main kinds of stroke:
1. TIAs = mini strokes, short term
2. Ischemic = clots in vessels
3. Hemorrhagic = bleeding from ruptured vessels.
American stroke association characterizes this as warning stroke. TIA symptoms occur rapidly and last a short time.
ASA two types of weakened vessels cause hemorrhagic: aneurysms and arteriovenous malformation.
Reason for obstruction is due to buildup of fatty deposits alongside walls.
This can all be found on American Stroke Association (ASA).
