Jesus was sinless in his nature, thoughts, actions and resisted all temptation to sin. This is evidenced by descriptions of him as holy, righteous, and just in the Bible and testimonies from Pilate, his wife, the thief on the cross, and the centurion. Arguments against his sinlessness based on inherited and imputed sin from Adam are refuted by Jesus having no earthly father and receiving genetic material only from Mary. His sinlessness was necessary for him to be the perfect revelation of God, mediator, and sacrifice for human sins.
