In Hebrew, Torah means Law. The five books of the Torah are Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, are the most treasured part of the Scriptures for Jews, on the Sabbath Jews read a portion of the Torah so all five books are read during the course of the year’s services. The Talmud is commentary on the Laws of Judaism, the Babylonian Talmud is more extensive than the Jerusalem Talmud, and can fill several shelves of a bookcase. Since much of this commentary is on the dietary laws and Jewish festival observance, we will consult summaries of the Talmud on the moral and ethical laws of the Torah.
We encourage Christians to study the moral lessons of the Torah, we do not hold to the dual-covenant belief that the laws in the Torah have been superseded. St Irenaeus in his influential work, On Heresies, teaches us that the moral laws of the Torah are still binding on Christians, and that the dietary and festival laws that have been superseded can be read as teaching moral lessons allegorically.

Is online education an effective replacement for traditional classroom teaching?Dam Frank
The proliferation of information and communication technology (ICT) has created significant advancements in the way both teaching and learning take place. Among these advancements is the emergence of online learning, also known as e-learning, which is defined as the distribution of learning materials and resources online via the use of information and communication technology to facilitate the learning experience (Chitra & Raj, 2018, p. 2).

Lesson 6 : Jewish Sects at the Time of ChristDam Frank
A sect is a name given to a group of people who break away from a larger, established religious denomination because of a set of beliefs that differ in some key ways.
Many views and practices of a sect will overlap with those of the larger group, other beliefs will be distinct enough to warrant a schism or division between
the groups.
This bible lesson discusses Jesus Christ being our substitute using bible illustrations such as: Isaac's substitute ram, the scapegoat of Leviticus 16 and the substitution for Barabbas
The term Progressive revelation states that God reveals His will and the mystery of Himself to humanity throughout stages in time. Therefore, the progressive revelation of the name refers to the various names God use to express the revelation of Himself throughout history.
This bible study focuses on the unity or oneness Adam had with the Father when he was created. Emphasis was also placed on the tripartite nature of man, body, soul and spirit. Since God is omniscient, I believe that when God asked Adam where are you, He wasn't asking for his physical location but rather his spirit which was dead or cut off from the spiritual God.

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

Jewish Beliefs
Jewish customs and traditions are founded on four fundamental principles.
God is One (Jewish confession of faith - Monotheism)
Many Jews recite the Shema twice daily, demonstrating this fundamental belief: Hear,
O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
God is the Creator
This belief is paramount because Jews learn that God is the author of all creation,
which is emphasized in Genesis 1 and 2.

Jewish Sacred Texts: The Mishna
According to Rabbinic Judaism, the word ‘Mishna’ means “study by repetition”
and it is the first major written collection of the Jewish oral traditions known as the
Oral Torah.
The Oral Torah represents those laws, statutes, and legal interpretations that
were not recorded in the Five Books of Moses, the "Written Torah“
According to Jewish tradition, the Oral Torah was passed down orally in an
unbroken chain from generation to generation until its contents were finally

References to Jesus in the Talmud
“They are deliberately intended to contradict events recorded in the
Gospels; the selfsame facts are perverted into bad and blamable acts.
For example, the Gospels say that Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit,
and not of a human father; theTalmud stories assert that Jesus was
indeed born without a father, yet not of the Holy Spirit, but as the
result of an irregular union. The Gospels say that He performed signs
and wonders through the Holy Spirit and the power of God; theTalmud
stories allow He did indeed work signs and wonders, but by means of
magic.”
