• The Department of
Hindi and Sanskrit
comprises a team of six
teachers who
constantly work to
develop and re-
energise the learning
of Hindi and Sanskrit
through various
classroom tested and
‘outside the classroom
‘ activities that not only
teach the language in a
learner centred
manner but also lead
to a systematic
development in the
use of the language.

3. FOREIGN LANGUAGES
• French and German
are taught under
the aegis of The
Department of
Foreign languages.
Through academic
and cultural
experiences
students are made
proficient in the
languages they opt
for. The subject is
open for students
from Classes VI-XII.

4. COMMERCE
• The Department of
Commerce is a team of
five members whose
aim it is, not only to
satisfy the vocational
needs of the students
but also to provide a
basic understanding of
the various principles,
procedures and
practices related to
business.

5. ENGLISH
• English Department is the
creative Laboratory of The
Scindia School. This Department
not only prepares students for
examinations but also for
creative writing, oratory and
theatrical excellence. The
Department comprises a
dedicated team of seven English
teachers of high calibre and
immense creative wisdom. Apart
from a focussed thrust on
producing good Board results the
teachers work towards
strengthening language skills of
the students through various
literary activities.

6. ART
• Art education enriches our students’
lives and learning. At Scindia School
we believe that all students deserve
the opportunity to experience a rich
Art education. It stimulates and
encourages creative growth, increases
the understanding of the importance
of Art and design in our contemporary
society. The students learn to enjoy
and appreciate works of Art in
different mediums like water colour,
acrylic, pen and ink drawing, oil
pastel, stone carving, wood carving,
clay modelling, textile design, batik,
tie and dye paper mache and metal
work. They get an exposure to
different schools of paintings – from
the Bengal to Modern.
