DAY 02 – EXPLORING COCHIN
AND SIGHTSEEING
Good morning!! With a glowing sun, we
wish to plan a memorable day for you. Be
ready to embark on your journey after
breakfast. Your tour guide will take you to
the Vypeen Island where the Vembanad
Lake merges with the Arabian Sea. There
are boats and jetties to give you thrill in
water sashaying and morning breeze.

4. DAY 03 – COCHIN TO
ALAPPUZHA, KERALA

Alappuzha, Kerala, which is 53kms
away from Cochin. Alappuzha is a
watery heaven of interlinking canals,
where you can relish your romantic

PERIYAR
This morning, a car will take you to
Periyar, which is 138kms from
Alappuzha and will drop you at a
boutique or a four-star hotel in Periyar.

5. DAY 05 – PERIYAR SIGHTSEEING
Next day after breakfast, you will be guided for local sightseeing of
Periyar’s blessed natural beauty. The wildlife sanctuary is popularly
known as ‘Tiger Reserve’, is the most known and enthralling
sanctuaries of India, where you can enjoy the elephant’s frolicking in
the water. Another engaging centre of attraction is Mangla Devi temple
at the centre of the Tiger Reserve, where you can bow to take the
blessings of the divine Goddess.
DAY 06 – PERIYAR-MUNNAR-KERALA (SIGHTSEEING)
Hills of Munnar are calling you now!! On 6thday of your trip, a cab will pick
you up from Periyar and drop you at Munnar, where our team members
and guides will escort you to the hotel.
It’s time to verve self with the lip-smacking taste of complimentary
breakfast and gets ready to acknowledge the glory of Munnar – “Kashmir
of South India”. Our driver will take you to revitalize yourself in the
morning bliss at the Elephant arrival spot where you can actually see
Elephant’s frolicking with water.

6. DAY 07 – MUNNAR TO MADURAI, TAMIL NADU
The morning glory is calling for a religious movement; you will be taken
to Madurai, the cultural heritage of South from Munnar. Our comforting
vehicle will assist you in covering a 153kms journey without any
discomfort.
DAY 08 – SIGHTSEEING IN MADURAI
Start your day at 5 am by revering at the famous historic Meenakshi
Temple situated at the southern bank of the river Vaigai. By the time you
leave from Meenakshi temple, your hunger would probably start scalding
your intestine, so let’s pacify it with Madurai’s special breakfast Kothu
Parotha.

7. DAY 09 – MADURAI –
THANJAVUR (SIGHTSEEING)
Pack your bag for the 189.3kms
journey to the ancient capital of the
Chola kingdom and Rice bowl of India
‘Thanjavur’. Our associates will
welcome you there and succour you in
settling down at the hotel.
DAY 10 – THANJAVUR TO
PUDUCHERRY
Beach calling again!! You will be dropped
at the railway station to catch your train to
Puducherry at 6:40 am. From Puducherry
railway station, you will be driven to your
hotel. The day is for you to be spent at your
leisure.

8. DAY 11 – PUDUCHERRY (SIGHTSEEING)
You need to fasten up a bit with your breakfast to visit the famous
Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Temple that closes at 12:30 pm. You
may not be willing to lose the opportunity of manifestation of the
divine. Done with the sight, you may also visit the Basilica of the
sacred heart of Jesus Church yet another 1.8kms away.
By this time, you must be exhausted so why not have the best dining
experience now somewhere nearby. Later, the evening tides of Rock
beach are eagerly waiting for you at the time of dusk.
DAY 12 – PUDUCHERRY – MAHABALIPURAM
(SIGHTSEEING)
The day begins with a visit to the coast. Later you will travel for around
99.1kms more to reach Mahabalipuram from Puducherry.
Our colleague will make you comfortable there with easy check-in. Finish
your daily calls and get ready for Mahabalipuram beach with us. It is
undoubtedly beautiful and rich in history too. At 3 mins walking distance
on the beach itself is the famous and ancient Shore temple in front of Bay
of Bengal built way back in 8 century A.D. Adjoining at a distance of
1.3kms is one of the best examples of Dravidian sculpture, ‘Five Rathas’.

9. DAY 13 – MAHABALIPURAM TO
CHENNAI (SIGHTSEEING)
By road, it takes only 1 hour 15 minutes to
cover 57.2kms to reach your last destination
‘Chennai’ from Mahabalipuram. No worries,
we will still be there for you.
Start your day with the customary Rasam,
Dosa and Sambhar in breakfast and join us
to see the sights of famous Urban Marina
Beach which is 13kms long and gets
connected to the Fort St. George, an English
fortress of India. Thus, enjoy two sites in one
go…Hurray!!
DAY 14 – DEPARTURE FROM
CHENNAI
Hope you enjoyed your visit to South India

Goodbye!! Pack your bags, check your
belongings and leave on time for Chennai
International Airport.
