Jonah reluctantly preached to Nineveh and the people there repented, which displeased Jonah. The document discusses Jonah running from God, being swallowed by a great fish, his conversion and praise, God's mercy in sparing Nineveh despite their wickedness, and how even pagans in Nineveh repented at Jonah's preaching, condemning future unbelieving generations. 2) For Noah, it describes the flood God sent to punish non-believers. For Moses, it discusses his confrontation with the arrogant Pharaoh and God's miracle of parting the Red Sea.
3) It concludes by encouraging learning from the prophets' examples to have happiness in the afterlife, and to start preparing now through worshipping God rather than wasting time.
A background look at the person (Daniel) and the circumstances surrounding his exile from Jerusalem to Babylon as well as a first description of the dream that forms the basis for Daniel’s prophecies.
Daniel was a teenager among the Jewish exiles in Babylon. He became the most senior administrator of the empire under three unpredictable kings. Four commitments were the foundation of his life: commitment to God, Commitment to reading the Scriptures, Commitment to prayer and commitment to professional excellence. Through visions and angelic messengers God gave Daniel six detailed visions of the future covering the period 200BC until the return of Christ.
- King Nebuchadnezzar was a great and powerful ruler who had conquered many lands and built the magnificent city of Babylon. However, he became proud and boastful.
- God gave Nebuchadnezzar a disturbing dream that only Daniel could interpret. Daniel explained that the dream foretold that Nebuchadnezzar would lose his mind and live like a wild animal for seven years.
- Sure enough, while boasting about his great kingdom one day, Nebuchadnezzar immediately lost his mind and lived in the wild as a beast for seven years, eating grass. After this time, his sanity returned and he acknowledged God as the true ruler.
This document discusses Prophet Nuh (Noah) and provides details about his story and message. It explains that he warned his people about worshipping idols instead of Allah and urged them to follow the one true God. However, most of his people did not believe and rejected his message. Eventually, Allah instructed Prophet Nuh to build an ark to survive the coming flood as punishment for the disbelievers. The story concludes with Prophet Nuh and his followers being saved on the ark while the disbelievers who rejected the message drowned in the flood waters.
God calls Jonah to go to Nineveh and preach against the city for its evil. However, Jonah refuses and runs away, boarding a ship to Tarshish. God sends a storm and Jonah is thrown overboard, being swallowed by a great fish. Jonah prays and is spit out on dry land, where he receives the call again. This time he goes to Nineveh and preaches repentance. Surprisingly, the entire city repents of their evil ways, disappointing Jonah. The story of Jonah teaches us that when God calls us to spread his message, we must obey and not run away, even from those we consider enemies.
Journey Through the Bible: Jonah - God of the Second ChanceResurrection Church
The document discusses the books of Jonah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah. It explores how these books show God's perfect balance of justice and mercy. God gives people second chances to repent, like he did for Jonah and Nineveh. However, God will also execute justice for those who continue in rebellion, like he did with the destruction of Nineveh. Overall, these books reveal God as a just yet merciful God and provide a message of hope during times of darkness.

Jesus was promising his servants great honorGLENN PEASE
Jesus promised his followers great honor if they served him by following his example. He taught them, ruled over them as their master, saved them as their savior, and set the example for how they should live their lives. Serving Christ may involve difficulties, but the encouragement of eternal life and honor from God makes it worthwhile.
Angels, Who They Are and What Is Their Role On EarthDaily Bible Verse
Angels are spiritual beings created by God to carry out his work and will on Earth. They possess great wisdom, strength, speed, and exist in vast numbers. Their primary role is serving as ministering spirits to those who will inherit salvation. They accomplish their ministry through instruction, deliverance, comfort, and reception of souls at death. They also protect the helpless, proclaim God's messages, and execute his judgments. While angels have great power, they should not be worshipped as that honor belongs to God alone.

Prophet Nuh (a) was sent by Allah to guide people who worshipped idols to the one true God, but most people did not believe him. When they threatened Nuh (a), Allah commanded him to build an ark. Though the disbelievers mocked the ark, soon heavy rains came as punishment from Allah. Nuh (a) and believers boarded the ark with animal pairs, while the disbelievers drowned, including Nuh's son who refused to board. After 40 days, the waters receded and Nuh's group disembarked on a mountain to rebuild their lives in faith of Allah.

Daniel was taken captive to Babylon along with other young men where they were to be trained and assimilated into Babylonian culture. They were given Babylonian names and fed the king's food, which likely included meat offered to idols. Daniel and his friends refused to eat the king's food or embrace the Babylonian names and lifestyle. God blessed them for their faithfulness by giving them superior understanding over the other trainees. They impressed Nebuchadnezzar with their wisdom and served faithfully until the time of Cyrus, demonstrating that God honors those who honor and remain faithful to Him, even in a foreign land.

People must choose whether they will serve God and promote good or reject him and further evil aims.
Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) preached monotheism for 950 years after many people started worshipping statues of righteous people after their deaths. When his people refused to stop worshipping idols and follow Allah alone, a flood was sent as punishment. Nuh built an ark at Allah's command and took believers and animal pairs aboard as the flood waters rose. The flood destroyed all the disbelievers while the ark landed safely, carrying on Nuh's followers and marking the end of that nation of disbelievers. Archaeological evidence may support that Nuh's ark came to rest on Mount Judi in Turkey as indicated in Islamic texts.

God tells Jonah to preach to the people of Nineveh about impending judgment. However, Jonah does not want to warn his enemies and instead runs away. After being in the belly of a large fish, Jonah obeys and preaches in Nineveh. The people repent at his message. The Meaning of the Qur'an is a fresh English rendering of Tafhim-ul-Qur’an, Maulana Syed Abu Ala Moududi’s monumental and masterly Urdu translation of the Qur’an and a selection of his commentary. The translator has undertaken the delicate and difficult task of rendering this work in English under the guidance of the Maulana himself. Here is a work with a difference, by a dedicated scholar of an entirely different sort. An immense wealth of profound understanding of the Qur’an is here, a vast treasure of knowledge and deep insight, and a valuable exposition of some social, political, economic and legal teachings of the Qur’an.
This comprehensive Tafsir answers contemporary questions, and makes the Qur’an fully relevant to the concerns of day, yet it loses nothing of its timelessness nor sacrifices any of the traditional understanding. It demonstrates the unity and coherence of the Qur’an by centring everything on its message, like gems hung on a single string.
This Tafsir is particularly suitable for Muslims with no direct access to the Arabic original.
Prophet Noah preached monotheism to his people but they refused to believe. God commanded Noah to build an ark, and when a flood came, Noah and believers were saved on the ark while unbelievers drowned. Archaeological evidence from ancient Mesopotamian cities like Ur, Erech, Kish and Shuruppak indicate layers of mud and debris deposited by a catastrophic flood, supporting the biblical narrative of Noah's flood as a localized historical event in Mesopotamia.
The document provides an introduction to a book that warns of coming judgment and destruction upon America for its sins. While this message will be rejected, the author believes he has a duty as a watchman to blow the trumpet and warn people to repent so they can be spared.
david-wilkerson-set-the-trumpet-to-thy-mouth-pdf david wilkersonKaturi Susmitha
This document is an introduction to a book that warns of imminent judgment and destruction coming to America through fire. It references prophecies from the Bible about God judging nations through fire. The introduction argues that America fits the description of modern Babylon in Revelation that will be destroyed suddenly in one hour. It claims America will be wiped out by a hydrogen holocaust and few will escape this divine judgment for the nation's sins and turning away from God. The author believes he has been called as a watchman to blow the trumpet and warn of America's coming destruction.
The Destruction of America::"Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devour-ing fire. And the Lord shall cause his glo-rious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indig-nation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tem-pest, and hailstones" (Isaiah 30:27,30).
"Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord" (Jeremiah 8:7).
America is going to be destroyed by fire! Sudden destruction is coming and few will escape. Unexpect-edly, and in one hour, a hydrogen holocaust will engulf America—and this nation will be no more.
It is because America has sinned against the great-est light. Other nations are just as sinful, but none are as flooded with gospel light as ours. God is going to judge America for its violence, its crimes, its backslid-ings, its murdering of millions of babies, its flaunting of homosexuality and sadomasochism, its corruption, its drunkenness and drug abuse, its form of godliness without power, its lukewarmness toward Christ, its rampant divorce and adultery, its lewd pornography, its child molestations, its cheatings, its robbings, its dirty movies, and its occult practices.
In one hour it will all be over. To the natural mind it is insanity to come against a prosperous, powerful nation and cry out, "It's all over! Judgment is at the door! Our days are numbered!" The church is asleep, the congregations are at ease, and the shepherds slumber. How they will scoff and laugh at this mes-sage. Theologians will reject it because they can't fit it into their doctrine. The pillow prophets of peace and prosperity will publicly denounce it.
This document discusses Jude's condemnation of apostates in his letter. It begins by examining Jude 11-13 where he describes the doom of apostates, comparing them to Cain, Balaam, and Korah. It then analyzes Jude 14-15 where Jude quotes a prophecy of Enoch about God coming with his holy ones to execute judgment. Finally, it looks at Jude 16 where Jude says the apostates are "grumblers, finding fault, following after their own lusts; they speak arrogantly, flattering people for the sake of gaining an advantage." The document provides context and analysis for understanding Jude's message about firmly opposing false teachers and their condemnation.
This document provides an overview and summary of a Bible study lesson about the Book of Nahum. It discusses Nahum's prophecy of God's coming judgment against Nineveh, the capital of Assyria, for their wickedness. Some key points made in the document include: Nahum predicted the destruction of Nineveh, which was later fulfilled; God judges wicked nations as well as individuals; great empires like Assyria that depart from God's ways will fall; and the lesson from Nahum is that disobedience to God will be punished severely, while repentance can avert judgment.
God commands Jonah to prophesy against the wicked city of Nineveh, but Jonah flees by boat to Tarshish instead of obeying. God sends a storm and the sailors discover Jonah is the cause. They throw Jonah into the sea, calming it, and he is swallowed by a large fish. After repenting in the fish's belly, Jonah is spit out and again told to prophesy against Nineveh. This time he obeys, the Ninevites repent, and God spares the city, angering Jonah who feels his prophecy was made empty.
Ezekiel was a priest among the exiles taken to Babylon in 597 BC. He received visions around 592 BC, contemporary with Jeremiah and Daniel. Ezekiel and other prophets warned of Judah's destruction if they did not repent. God sent many prophets with the same message in hopes it would get through. Ezekiel performed dramatic acts to symbolize Judah's fate in an attempt to gain their attention. God did everything possible through warnings and signs to get Judah to repent so they could live, but they refused to listen.
God saw that humanity had become wicked and decided to destroy all life with a flood, except for one righteous man, Noah. God instructed Noah to build an ark and take two of every animal species and seven pairs of clean animals onto the ark to survive the flood. Noah obeyed God's instructions, taking his family and the animals onto the ark. Heavy rains fell for 40 days and nights, flooding the entire earth. After the waters receded, Noah sent out a raven and a dove to check if any land was visible. When the dove returned with an olive leaf, Noah knew the flood waters had receded enough. God established a covenant with Noah never to destroy all life with a flood again, symbolized by the
Journey Through The Bible: Joel and Malachi - The Day of the LordResurrection Church
The document summarizes passages from Joel and Malachi about prophecies relating to John the Baptist and Jesus.
1) Malachi prophesied a messenger would prepare the way for God, which was fulfilled by John the Baptist. Jesus confirmed John was the promised messenger.
2) Malachi also prophesied Elijah would return before Judgment Day, which Jesus said was fulfilled by John the Baptist, who came in the spirit of Elijah to prepare for the Messiah.
3) Joel prophesied God would pour out his Spirit on all people, which Peter cited as being fulfilled at Pentecost after Jesus' resurrection.
Shu'aib was sent as a prophet by Allah to the people of Madyan, who were known for dishonest business practices like giving short measure and hiding defects in goods. Shu'aib called them to worship only Allah and reform their ways, but they refused to listen and mocked him. When Shu'aib's followers were driven out, Allah punished the disbelievers by sending down a cloud that burst with thunderbolts and fire, killing the evil-doers. The story highlights the consequences of rejecting prophets and corrupt business practices.
1) Halloween has its origins in pagan rituals and Druid traditions that involved human and animal sacrifices to appease spirits.
2) The Bible warns Christians against participating in pagan practices or having fellowship with darkness.
3) The document encourages Christians to celebrate Reformation Day instead of Halloween and to engage in spiritual warfare through prayer.
The document provides an overview and summary of the biblical book of Nahum. It discusses how Nahum prophesied the coming destruction of Nineveh, the capital of Assyria, around 650 BC as judgment for their sins and cruelty. Key points include: Nahum delivered a message of impending doom for Nineveh, unlike the earlier prophet Jonah who called Nineveh to repentance; Nahum described the siege and plundering of Nineveh in poetic and vivid detail; and the book teaches that God judges nations who act wickedly and oppress others, though He is also merciful to those who take refuge in Him.
This document discusses Jesus' role in relation to humanity and religion. It argues that Jesus rules over creation and humanity, not just the religious domain. The religious domain is obsolete and did not achieve its purpose. It proposes adopting non-religious language and categories to describe Jesus' role at the center of life, not just at the boundaries or in weakness. It discusses how the gospel spread through organic conversation rather than deliberate plans, and how the Hellenized Jews in Alexandria integrated Greek thought and the Logos concept in a way that recognized deeper truths in Moses.
This document provides a summary of the life of Saint Mary, mother of Jesus. It describes how Mary's mother Hanna prayed to God for a child and promised to dedicate the child to serving God. Though Hanna gave birth to a girl, Mary, God accepted her prayer. Mary was raised by the prophet Zechariah and lived a virtuous life of prayer and service. The angel Gabriel later informed Mary that she would give birth to Jesus, fulfilling a divine plan. Mary gave birth to Jesus and faced skepticism but Jesus spoke as an infant to defend his mother. The document outlines some of the key events in Mary's life leading up to and following the birth of Jesus.
This document provides a summary of the story of Moses from the Quran and Bible in 3 parts. It describes how Moses was born to Hebrew parents living as slaves in Egypt. Fearing for his life since the Pharaoh had ordered all Hebrew boy babies to be killed, Moses' mother puts him in a basket in the river. He is discovered and raised by the Pharaoh's wife. As a young man, Moses kills an Egyptian man and must flee Egypt, exhibiting his courage in standing up for the oppressed. The story highlights themes of having faith and trusting in God during difficult times.
The document discusses several scientific facts mentioned in the Quran related to astronomy, biology and embryology that were discovered by modern science. It notes that the Quran revealed that the universe was initially smoke/gas, expanded continuously, and has layers of atmosphere protecting the earth. It also mentioned orbits, gravity, creation in pairs for reproduction, and embryonic development stages - all of which have since been scientifically proven but were unknown at the time the Quran was revealed. The document aims to show that given the scientific accuracy, the Quran must have divine origin.
The document provides biographical information about the Prophet Muhammad and summarizes his key teachings and military battles. It begins by stating that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad over 23 years and has remained unchanged. It then discusses Muhammad's humble upbringing and marriage. His first revelation occurred at age 40 when he received his first verses from the archangel Gabriel. He faced opposition from Makkan pagans which led to his migration to Medina in 622. The document summarizes Muhammad's seven defensive military battles between 624-631, emphasizing he only fought to defend against aggression and implemented strict ethical rules of warfare. It aims to dispel common misconceptions about Muhammad and portray him as a prophet who brought social reform
The forefather of religions, the prophet Abraham.LASTtruth
The document discusses the prophet Abraham as a forefather of holy religions. It describes Abraham as a chosen prophet who was spiritually and physically equipped to guide people. Abraham set a good example of obedience, trust, and calling people to worship the one God. The document outlines stories of Abraham from the Old Testament, New Testament, and Quran, including Abraham building an altar, Hagar and Ishmael, God asking Abraham to sacrifice Isaac/Ishmael, and Abraham being thrown into fire but surviving unharmed. It presents Abraham as a prophet of mercy who prayed for God's forgiveness of non-believers.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

-God keep His promises.
-God’s general providence is toward all creation
- All things were made through Him
God’s special providence is toward His children.

The Book of Samuel is a book in the Hebrew Bible, found as two books in the Old Testament. The book is part of the Deuteronomistic history, a series of books that constitute a theological history of the Israelites and that aim to explain God's law for Israel under the guidance of the prophets.
1. THE GARDEN OF PROPHETS 2
The Prophet Noah
Patience and a complete trust in God are the outstanding personal traits of the Prophet
Noah. His mission became a turning point of Human history. In other words, the prophet
Noah restarted the human history upon increasing of non-believers and their biggest sin
and blasphemy of denying God’s existence and worse mocking God’s divine messengers.
He was so patient that he invited his people to believe in God for 950 years.
Divine Books
In Old Testament, the prophet Noah was told comprehensively;
“This is the story of Noah. He had sons. Noah had no faults and was the only good
man of his time. He lived in fellowship with God, but everyone was else was evil in
God’s sight, and violence had spread everywhere.”
God said to Noah, “I have decided to put up an end to all Mankind. I will destroy
them completely, because world is full o f their violent deeds. Built a boat for
yourself out of Good timber; make rooms in it and cover it with tar inside and out.’
”(Genesis 6/ 9-14)
“The Lord said to Noah, “Go into the boat with your whole family… I know that you are the
only one in all the world who does what is right? Take with you seven pairs of each kind of
animal. Take also seven pairs of each kind of birds.” and Noah did everything that the God
commanded. When Noah was six hundred years, on the seventeenth day of the second
month all the outlets of the vast body of water beneath the earth burst opened and rain fell
on the earth for forty days and nights.
On that same day Noah and his wife went into the boat with their tree sons, Shem, Ham,
Japheth and their wives. With them went every kind of animal, domestic, and wild, large
and small, and every kind of bird. A male and female of each kind living being went into
the boat with Noah as God commande.
The flood continued for forty days, and the water became deep enough for the boat to
float…It became so deep that it covered the highest mountains. It went on rising until it
was seven meters above the tops of the mountains. Every living being on earth that
breathed died. The Lord destroyed all living beings, animals, and the birds. The only ones
left were Noah and those who were with him in the boat.
The water did not start going down for a hundred and fifty days.” (Genesis 7/ 1-24
2. In New Testament, the prophet Noah was told in the same way Old
Testament did.
“It was fate that made Noah hear God’s warnings about things in the
. future that he could not see. He obeyed God and built a boat in which
. Noah and his family were saved. As a result, the world was condemned,
and Noah received from God the righteousness that comes by faith.” (Hebrews 11/ 7)
When Noah was 601 years old, on the first day of the first month, the water was gone.
Noah removed the covering of the boat, looked around, and saw that the ground was
getting dry. By the twenty seventh day of the second month the earth was completely dry.
God said Noah go out of the boat with your wife, your sons and their wives.Take all the
birds and animals out with you so that they may reproduce and spread all over the earth.
So Noah went out of the boat with his wife, his sons and their wives. All the animals and
birds went out of the boat in groups of their own kind. (Genesis 8/ 15)
The prophet Noah in Qur’an
As for Qur’an, the prophet Noah was told at length in different verses. The verse Hud is
one of them:
“We sent Noah to his people (with a mission): "I have come upon you with a clear
Warning: That you serve none but God: Verily I do fear for you of the punishment of
a grievous day." (Qur’an Hud 11/ 25-26)
After the prophet Adam, there might be more prophets until the Prophet Noah. At the time
of the prophet Noah, people started denying that God did not exist and leading a life
based on cheating and stealing in any forms. People were blinded with what they saw and
did not believe what they did not see. They were stubborn, arrogant, and unbearable.
But the chiefs of the Unbelievers among his people said: "We see (in) you nothing
but a man like ourselves: Nor do we see that any follow you but the lowest among
us, that is clearly seen: Nor do we see in you (all) any merit above us: in fact we
think you are liars!" (Qur’an - Hud 11/ 27)
Noah said: "O my people! Think over if I rely on a Clear Sign from my God, and that
He had given the mission of prophecy but that this had been obscured from your
sight? Shall we compel you to accept God’s mercy when you are averse to it?
(Qur’an - Hud 11/28)
The conception and understanding of people at that time was no different from those of
today’s people. “Why don’t we see and talk to God? Why don’t angels come upon the
earth so that we can see them? If you are right about what you said, ask God to bring the
punishment you speak of ” are the typical questions of that time of Noah as well as our
present time. (Ch 11:29-31 Quran)
3. The question is that if we have times now worse than that of the prophet’s
time, then, a worse than Flood like punishment would come upon the earth
to cleanse Man’s sins?
“And O my people! I ask you for no wealth in return: my reward is from
none but God: But I will not drive away those who believe: for verily they are to
meet their God, and I admit that you are the ignorant ones! (Qur’an Hud 11/ 29)
The prophet Noah struggled sincerely to convince his people that there is God and
Judgment day, but once he realized that they would not give up their blasphemy, he
gave up on them so did God.
Noah's people were divided into two groups after his warning. His words touched the
hearts of the weak, the poor, and the miserable and soothed their wounds with its mercy.
As for the rich, the strong, the mighty and the rulers they looked upon the warning with
cold distrust. They believed they would be better off if things stayed as they were.
Therefore they started their war of words against Noah. First they accused Noah of being
only human like themselves. 'The chiefs of the non-believers among his people said:
"We see you but a man like ourselves." (Ch 11:27 Quran)
He, however, had never said anything other than that. He asserted that, indeed, he was
only a human being; God had sent a human messenger because the earth inhabited by
humans. If it had been inhabited by angels God would have sent an angelic messenger.
The contest between the polytheists and Noah continued. the rulers had thought at first
that Noah's call would soon fade on its own. When they found that his call attracted the
poor, the helpless and common laborers, they started to verbally attack and taunt him:
“You are only followed by the poor, the meek and the worthless.” "Listen Noah,
if you want us to believe in you, then dismiss your believers. They are meek and
poor, while are elite and rich; no faith can include us both."
Noah listened to the heathens of his community and realized they were being obstinate.
However, he was gentle in his response. He explained to his people that he could not
dismiss the believers as they were not his guests but God's.
Noah appealed to them: "O my people! I ask of you no wealth for it, my reward is from
none but God. I am not going to drive away those who have believed. Surely, they are
going to meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people that are ignorant. O my people!
Who will help me against God, if I drove them away? Will you not then give a thought?
And I do not say to you that with me are the Treasures of God nor that I know the unseen,
nor do I say I am an angel, and I do not say of those whom your eyes look down upon
that God will not bestow any good on them. God knows what is in their inner selves.
In that case, I should, indeed be one of the wrong doers or oppressors.
4. Noah refuted the arguments of the non-believers with the noble knowledge of
the prophets. It is the logic of intellect that rids itself of personal pride and
interests. The rulers were tired of Noah's arguments. God the Exalted related
their attitude:
They said: "O Noah! You have disputed with us and much have you prolonged the
dispute with us, now bring upon us what you threaten us with, if you are of the
truthful."
He said: "Only God will bring it (the punishment)on you, if He will, and then you will
escape not. And my advice will not profit you, even if I wish to give you counsel, if
God's Will is to keep you astray. He is your Lord! And to Him you shall return."
(Ch 11:32-34 Quran)
He said: "Truly, God will bring it on you if He wills,- and then you will not be able to
escape it! (Qur’an - Hud 11/33)
Our comprehension is very limited and we cannot imagine “the entire world was covered
with water and there was a big ship sailing in it.” This is extraordinary as much as
amazing which we can only explain it through God’s mercy and Ever-Wisdom and Ever
Knowledge only.
If they start making very good and true movies of prophets’ lives, we can witness how
God is so merciful and blessing on us. Otherwise we can only force our imagination to
picture such a historic and miracle voyage of Humankind through God’s blessing and
His prophet. Challenging God became a common trend for non-believers. They aimed
to satisfy their stubborn mind by challenging prophets asking them to bring the Wrath
of God upon themselves; they had assumed that nothing would happen and they would
rest their case. But they were unfortunate and they received the punishment that they
did not expect.
THE ARK WAS STARTED TO BE BUILT UP
It was revealed to Noah: "None of your people will believe except those who have
believed already! So grieve no longer over their evil deeds, but construct an Ark
under Our supervision and Our inspiration, and do not ask ME any favor on behalf
of those who are in sin: for they are about to be drown in the Flood (Qur’an - Hud
11/36 –37)
Noah started constructing the Ark:
Everytime non-believers passed by Noah and his believers who started building the Ark,
they were mocking the priohets and his belivers. They meant, “you are building an Ark,
oh my my ? Am I enttitled to be on the board because I am a non-believer” Of course,
the Prophet Noah and his a bunch of believers had a complete trust in God and they
ignored the non believers!
5. “Every time that the chiefs of his people passed by him, they mocked
him. He said: "you may ridicule us now, but, of course, time will come
that we will ridicule you. (Qur’an - Hud 11/38)
The mocking and belittling were common personal traits of non-believers at
that time and so are today’s nonbelievers. It is kind of “if you can’t dispute it, mock it”
attitude is a ego/pridesaver of non-believers.
"But soon you will know those will undergo the devastating Wrath in this world
and who will have the forever punishment Hereafter” (Qur’an Hud 11/39)
So he said: "you get on the Ark that whether it moves or be at rest in the name of
God. Our God is surely Ever-Forgiving and Most Merciful!" (Qur’an - Hud 11/41)
Then, when there came Our command, and the fountains of the earth gushed forth! We
said: "Embark therein, of each kind two, male and female, and your family - except those
who have already been sentenced by punishment of Flood,- and the Believers." but only
a few believed in him. (Qur’an Hud 11/40)
The sins distracted the man from true Worship and consequently from true faith.
The people turned to be the creatures with no faith, no wisdom, no values, and no
spiritual life: a kind of flesh that was not what God intended. The prophet Adam’s
generations quit to follow in the footsteps of Adam and previous prophets. Ignorance
became bliss and a matter of survival for the people of Noah.
6. Believing NOT in God caused more misery and pain that had given people
all the more reasons to believe that there is no God! They replaced good
with evil. They inserted the materialistic values in the mind of children. They
created a society where a man or woman was unable lead a decent life.
So the Ark floated with them on the waves towering like mountains, and Noah called out
to his son, who had separated himself (from the rest): "O my son! embark with us, and
be not with the unbelievers!" (Qur’an - Hud 11/42)
The son replied: "I shelter myself to some mountain to save me from the water."
Noah said: "This day nothing can be saved from the command of God’s Wrath, but
those on whom He has mercy! "And suddenly the waves came between them, and
the son was among those drowned to death in the Flood. (ur’an - Hud 11/43)
And Noah called upon his Lord, and said: "O my Lord! surely my son is of my
family! You gave me the good news that My family will be saved and your promise
is true, and you are the fairest of Judges!" (Qur’an - Hud 11/45)
God said: "O Noah! He is not of your family: For his conduct he is unrighteous.
and unfair. So ask not Me that of which you have no knowledge! I advise you so
that you don’t act like the ignorant!(Hud 11/46)
Compassion is the essence of the prophets and the Prophet Noah’s compassion came
out in favor of his son as well. But a believer or saved father has no heretical relationship
with his non-believer son.
For God there is no past and no future so HE sees past and future of all people. And God
says “I know your son, his past and his future. He has no faith in ME. and If you take him
in he would trouble you and your next generation. So do no ask anything if you are not
sure whether it is good or bad. Leave it to ME. Trust in ME and your fate that you have to
acknowledge.
Noah said: "O my Lord! I do seek refuge with you, about asking you for that of
which I have no knowledge. And unless you forgive me and have Mercy on me, I
shall indeed be unsaved!" (Hud 11/47)
Why did the Flood Happen?
People at Noahs’ time went astray. They change into a atheist society. Worse, the rich
ones were oppressing the weak ones. Such concepts, wisdom, understanding, being
Content and humble, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the God replaced with deadly
sins as Gluttony, greed, envy, wrath, pride, lust and sloth beyond our comprehension.
The earth could not taken it any more neither did God.
Thus God made a new era for the human history by purifying entire earth and bringing
upon a new generation and giving them another chance
7. The Type of the Ark
It would be normal for Noah’s Ark to be huge since the prophet Noah took the
animals of each pair of each kind in. The Ark should have been a steam ship
not the sailing one as we assume that steam ship could have survived
through those huge waves.
A WHOLE NEW WORLD STARTS ON THE EARTH WITH THE PROPHET NOAH
After the non-believers were drowned, then, the word went forth:
"O earth! swallow up your water, and O sky! Withhold your rain!" and the water
abated, and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi, and the word
went forth: " Curse on those ignorant and cruel ones!"(Qur’an - Hud 11/44)
The word came: "O Noah! Come down (from the Ark) with peace from us, and
blessing on you and on some of the believers. (Later again) There will be such
other generations to whom We shall grant their pleasures for a time, but in the
end, grievous penalty will reach them from Us." (Hud11/48)
Conclusion
The other prophets’ followers had worries sometimes but the followers of the prophet
Noah had a complete trust in God and Noah, so they obeyed what ever they were told.
They built the ship with a great patience and hardworking with the prophet Noah; it was
not easy for them while they were a few and the non-believers were in great number.
8. Besides they were under pressure; the non-believers were mocking them all
the time. In spite of all this psychological warfare and difficulties, the followers
of the prophet Noah did not give up their faith and did not get hesitated so
God did not give up on them and awarded them by letting their Ark sail
smoothly through the flood. (Fethullah Gulen)
The Facts that Speak for themselves.
The remains of Ark found on the mountain of Judi in Turkey prove that the Ark was quite
huge and built up very well and maybe bigger than unskinkable Titanic(!)so that it could
bear the big Flood which New testament states that the level of the flood was 70 meters
higher than the peak of the mountains.
The remains of the Ark found in Turkey on the mountain of JUDI in 1960 are completely
matched with the description of Noah’ Ark in Old Testament -Genesis and Qur’an.
Compared to unsinkable Titanic(!), the Ark of Noah is not longer – longer than half of the
Titanic- but wider that Titanic. The ark with 550 feet length and 300 hundred cubits, for its
time that was built, is truly stunning of divine engineering and human accomplishment.
The following drawing is based on a forensic analysis of ark mold at üzengili on Mt Judi.
9. The construction technique of "spaceframe" truss, is the only way a wooden
ship this large can be built, then or now. Clearly, certain license has been
taken as to interior details, but logic has been applied.

The skech of the Noah’s Ark
Today’s Non- believers: Unfortunately, today, non-believers , or believers who do not have a
true old or new testament, Qur’an free life style brought the consuquences along with it; such as
Crime rate, unsafe cities, countries, heartless people immorality, killing innno-cent people, hatred
one one another because of colour, religion, race, ethniciy, etc, sicknesses like AIDS, internet
abuse, violence, passing laws to legalize gay marriages(Sodom Gomorrha was destroyed by God
because if this same-same relationsships, and worse all these things seemed to us as normal and
it is justfied being as freedom of choice.
In fact, we are not free. We are bound to God and his orders. We did not exist, maybe, 70 years
ago. God created us as the best blessing , gave us life, made us a human being, made a palace
like earth which has alll life conditionsand sent us prophets to lead us to right path and revealed
the holy books like a manual book for our lives to live happily.
10. I wish and pray that the people in entire world will have someday peace, harmony,
mutual respect, and people will have hearts filled with true faith, mercy,
compassion, and love one another regardless of race, religion, colour and race.
This is just a divine inspiration; in future, if any clash of civiliziations happens, and the
whole world is in chaos, it is believed that the country Turkey, where a lot prophets and
saints’ graveyards exist, will act like a big Noah’s ark and save the people who take
shelter in it through divine help of the prophets and saints who lived and died there.
Indeed, the shape of Turkey map looks like a ship.
