The author discusses how growing up with parents who owned a rapidly expanding international telemarketing company required frequent moving and adapting to new environments. This helped the author become independent, comfortable with uncertainty, and able to build relationships quickly. The many school changes also taught the author to make the most of any situation through a positive attitude. Witnessing parents' hard work further instilled a strong work ethic in the author.
